該刊是經(jīng)新聞出版總署批準(zhǔn),由中國(guó)科學(xué)院主管,中國(guó)科學(xué)院力學(xué)研究所和中國(guó)力學(xué)學(xué)會(huì)主辦的學(xué)術(shù)期刊。它將于2011 年1月10日出版其創(chuàng)刊號(hào),并在國(guó)內(nèi)外公開發(fā)行。該刊由中國(guó)力學(xué)學(xué)會(huì)和 American Institute of Physics ( AIP ,美國(guó)物理聯(lián)合會(huì))合作出版和發(fā)行,將在 AIP 的著名電子平臺(tái) Scitation ( Scitation . aip . org )上在線出版。該刊在 AIP 上的網(wǎng)站為 http:// taml.aip.org。TAML定位為國(guó)際化的快報(bào)類英文期刊;旨在快速、精煉地報(bào)道具有原創(chuàng)性和重要價(jià)值的力學(xué)所有分支學(xué)科、力學(xué)交叉學(xué)科的理論、實(shí)驗(yàn)、計(jì)算以及應(yīng)用等方面的研究思想、方法、進(jìn)展和成果;注重前沿性和時(shí)效性,注重力學(xué)和工程的結(jié)合。 TAML 將為力學(xué)及相關(guān)學(xué)科作者提供最快發(fā)表自己研究成果的平臺(tái),為讀者提供最快了解國(guó)際前沿的渠道。
