Very few people are intending to spend their time and energy on the study of the gates of the Ginghai-Tibet Plateau, because there are so many attractive things on Qinghai-Tibet Plateau..But in fact, the gates there are worth gazing at carefully and attentively.

Gates are not only playing the roles of screens which protect the inside world from the outside world as far as the Tibetan group are concerned. In fact , the gates are one of the ways to represent the spiritual world of the Tibetan people. The psychological world of the Tibetan people which are profound and extensive are reflected in the various styles of decoration.
