1） raise的根本含義為“使上升”，常引申有如下意義：①舉起，raise ones hand；②提出，raise a question；③撫養(yǎng)，相當于，bring up / raise children；④籌集，raise funds

2）arouse 喚起，如arouse ones interest / sympathy喚起某人的興趣 / 同情心；rise（rose，risen） v. 上升n. 上升，上漲
