1. How much are these pants? 這些褲子多少錢?
(1)要點精講:
how much 在句中用來提問價錢,相當于句型:Whats the price of…?回答時用Its/Theyre+價格。如:
How much is your new book?=Whats the price of your new book?
你的新書多少錢?
(2)考點鏈接:
how much可作定語,修飾不可數(shù)名詞,而how many修飾復數(shù)名詞,譯成“多少”。如:
How much water is there in the bottle? 瓶子里有多少水?
How many students are there in your class? 你們班里有多少學生?
2. Can I help you? 你要買什么?
(1)要點精講:
該句是服務行業(yè)的工作人員招待顧客,提供幫助的禮貌用語,不同的語言環(huán)境可譯出不同的含義。如在飯店,該句可譯為“你想吃什么”;在商店,它的意思是“你想買什么商品”。還可用May I help you? What can I do for you?等來表示客氣和禮貌,回答時可說Id like…/I want…等。
(2)考點鏈接:
①help“幫助”作動詞講時構成句式help sb.(to) do sth. /help sb. with sth. “幫助某人做某事”。如:
I usually help my little sister do her homework.
我經(jīng)常幫我妹妹做作業(yè)。
②help也可用作名詞,意為“幫助”,一般不可數(shù)。如:
I need some help. 我需要一些幫助。
3. Come and see for yourself at Huaxing clothes store.
親自到華星衣店看一看。
(1)要點精講:“for+反身代詞”意為“親自、獨自”,相當于“(all) by+反身代詞”。如:
Do it for yourself.=Do it by yourself. 你自己做吧。
(2)考點鏈接:
come and buy “來買”,and常常連接兩個動作相隨的動詞,后一個動詞是前一個動詞的目的或結(jié)果。如:
Go and see. 去看一看。
4. Ill take it. 我要把它買下。
(1)要點精講:
當認為商品合適,決定購買時,常用此句??谡Z中經(jīng)常用take, have或get來代替buy。
(2)考點鏈接:
用在句型It takes sb. some time to do中take指花時間。如:
It takes me three hours to do some housework.

(1)要點精講:
when意為“什么時候,何時”,它引導的疑問句可以用來對年、月、日及時間進行提問。如:
——When do you get up every day?你每天什么時候起床?
——At seven. 七點。
(2)考點鏈接:
when連接一個陳述句,可用在動詞之后或一個句子的前面或后面,說明主句的時間,分別稱作賓語從句或狀語從句。如:
I lived in this village when I was a boy.
當我是一個孩子時,住在這個村子。
2. My birthday is October tenth. 我的生日是10月10日。
(1)要點精講:
英語日期的表達與漢語不同。英語表達的順序為月、日、年,因此2006年11月8日就可以寫成November 8th, 2006, 還可表示為November eighth, 2006。另外,也可以寫成日、月、年,8th November, 2006, 即the eighth of November, 2006。在朗讀時,月份一般直接用英語讀出,日則讀成“the+序數(shù)詞”,序數(shù)詞前的 the和序數(shù)詞的詞尾可以省略,但讀時不能省略。
(2)考點鏈接:
①讀年份時,一般分為兩個單位來讀,前兩個數(shù)為一個單位,后兩個數(shù)為一個單位。如1982年讀作nineteen eighty-two, 2000年讀成two thousand, 2001年則讀成two thousand and one。
②詢問“今天是幾月幾日”時,用句型:Whats the date today?
③日前用介詞on,月份、年份之前用介詞in。
④月份、星期的第一個字母要大寫,如January, Tuesday等。
3. How old are you? 你多大了?
(1)要點精講:
此句型用來詢問對方的年齡,回答時用基數(shù)詞。如:
——How old are you? 你多大了?
——Im sixteen. 我十六歲。
(2)考點鏈接:
how經(jīng)常和一些形容詞、副詞構成常用復合特殊疑問詞,如:how long(多長)、how much(多少)、how soon(多久以后)、how often(多久一次)、how far(多遠)等。
4. My brothers birthday is January 1st. 我哥哥的生日是一月一日。
(1)要點精講:
此處my brothers birthday表示“哥哥的生日”,在有生命的名詞后加s, 意為“……的”,在英語語法中叫做名詞所有格。如:
Lilys desk. 莉莉的桌子。
Childrens books. 孩子們的書。
(2)考點鏈接:
①以s結(jié)尾的復數(shù)名詞加“‘”,表示“……的”。如:Teachers Day 教師節(jié)。
②名詞前用所有格時表示兩者有所屬關系,如果表示類別或特征,就在名詞前放名詞原形。如:a boys bag 一個男孩的書包,a boy student一個男學生,Womens Day 婦女節(jié), Mid-autumn Day中秋節(jié)。
