GREEN SUPERVISION

Chinese companies will give morepriorities to local environmentwhile planning their overseasinvestment, as several Chinesegovernment departments, includingthe Ministry of EnvironmentalProtection and the Ministry ofCommerce, are formulating environmentalprotection guidelinesfor Chinese companies investingoverseas. The guidelines will requireChinese investors operatingoverseas to take steps to protect theenvironment and embrace theircorporate and social responsibilities.
