ZTECorporation,a leading global provider of telecommunications equipment and network solutions,demonstrated successful IMSbased Voice over LTE(VoLTE)calls on CSL Limited(CSL)’s LTEnetwork and its existing mobile networks at Mobile Asia Congress 2010(MAC 2010).The calls finished between IMSclients as wellas IMSclient and conventional 2G/3G handsets.This is the first time VoLTEcalls are made to the industry based on the inter-operability of LTE network and existing 2G/3G networks.In addition,supplementary services such as call forwarding,callwaiting were demonstrated.
