Recently, Galuminum Group has revealed that its aluminum mining project in Guizhou will officially go into operation before the Spring Festival of 2012. With an investment of 20 billion, the super comprehensive aluminum manufacturing and processing base is expected to reach a production capacity of 800,000 tons of alumina, which may help the group completely get rid of dependence on foreign countries in terms of aluminum resources, and provide domestic and global market with aluminum ores.A responsible person of Galuminum Group noted that the group has acquired aluminum resources at the top of the industrial chain and its Guizhou mining project will officially go into operation before the Spring Festival of 2012. In the upstream of the industrial chain,Galuminum Group has set up Guizhou Galuminum Aluminum Co., Ltd., which takes control of 9 ore blocks and enables it to provide Guizhou alumina enterprises with resources in the next 50 years. After being put into production, Guizhou aluminum base (phase I) is expected to yield 800,000 tons of alumina annually, approximately 70% of which are likely to be sold overseas and the annual sales revenue will exceed RMB 50 billion. The starting of Guizhou mining project has enabled Galuminum Group to possess the most comprehensive aluminum industrial chain in the world.
