On July 24, signing ceremony for a Fuchunjiang Smelting-Jiangxi Copper project was held in Fuyang. With an investment of 8 billion yuan, with Zhejiang Heding Copper Co., Ltd. settled in Xindeng New Area of Fuyang as a cooperation platform, both sides will launch a project with an annual capacity of 200,000 tons of blister copper and 370,000 tons of electrolytic copper. Hangzhou Fuchunjiang Smelting Co., Ltd. is the only copper smelting enterprise combining blister copper coarse smelting and electrolytic copper refining in the Yangtze River Delta area, and also a leading enterprise and major taxpayer in Fuyang City. The project marks partnership of strong players in the copper industry. It will effectively exert the advantages of Jiangxi Copper and Fuchunjiang Smelting in resources, financing, technology, management and talent, develop Zhejiang Heding Copper Co., Ltd., and provide a new force for implementing the strategy of ”reviving the city with industry” and promoting industry transformation and upgrading in Fuyang.
