There is a nation in western Africa whose people are living a primitive[原始的] life. The people often cut livestocks vein[靜脈] and drink their blood instead of killing them. And when their wounds heal[愈合]， people can take blood again.

非洲西部有一個民族的人至今仍過著原始生活。這個民族的人常將牲畜的靜脈割破，抽出一定的血液后飲用，而不是殺死牲畜，待其傷口愈合后還可以再次取血。

2. the blind nation 盲族

In the primitive forest of Sierra Madre mountains， Mexico， there is a strange nation—a blind nation. There are more than 300 people in the tribe and they are all blind. They are not congenital[先天的] blindness. They also have two bright eyes when they were born. But after three months， they will lose their sights gradually[逐漸地].

The Feida Nation in Sri Lanka is probably the most serious nation in the world. They never smile. People once used funny programs to make them laugh many times， but they were in vain. Why cant they smile？ Because they have no smile nerve.
