Tremendous Tremors

One morning in early March， hundreds of people in Naples received

telephone calls warning them of an earthquake. The residents were

told to leave their houses immediately. Up to half a million people ran

out， leaving their homes empty. Hours later， they returned to find that

they had been robbed， and that the warning had been a fake. The

Mafia were believed to have been behind the mass robbery.
