別樣英倫 “第八屆威爾士周”啟動(dòng)

3月3日，由英國(guó)威爾士政府駐重慶辦公室和重慶市人民政府外事僑務(wù)辦公室聯(lián)合舉辦的“第八屆威爾士周”在重慶圖書館啟動(dòng)。為期一個(gè)月的“別樣英倫—威爾士的具象之美”大型圖片展將同步在重慶圖書館揭幕，免費(fèi)向公眾開(kāi)放。近90幅精美圖片向重慶市民介紹作為重慶友好地區(qū)的英國(guó)威爾士那令人震撼的自然美景和悠久的傳統(tǒng)文化，市民還可以從展覽中進(jìn)一步了解威爾士的教育資源以及游學(xué)機(jī)會(huì)，領(lǐng)略別樣英倫風(fēng)情。

本屆威爾士周系列活動(dòng)還包括威爾士綠色建筑企業(yè)代表團(tuán)訪渝、威爾士文化沙龍、中英幼教創(chuàng)新與發(fā)展論壇、“威爾士杯”英語(yǔ)征文大賽和走進(jìn)威爾士課堂等精彩內(nèi)容。這將是重慶和威爾士在商務(wù)、文化、教育、藝術(shù)等領(lǐng)域深化交流，并探索進(jìn)一步合作機(jī)會(huì)的盛宴。

重慶和威爾士的地方友好交流由來(lái)已久。自2008年兩地政府簽署友好合作協(xié)議以來(lái)，雙方在經(jīng)貿(mào)、文化、科技等領(lǐng)域進(jìn)行了廣泛深入的合作交流，推動(dòng)和增進(jìn)了兩地人民之間的了解與友誼，取得了良好的社會(huì)和經(jīng)濟(jì)效益。

"The8thWales Week " Started

"The8thWales Week " jointly organized by United Kingdom Wales Office in Chongqing and Chongqing Municipal Foreign and Overseas Chinese Affairs Office lanched at Chongqing library on March the3rd. A month-long "Special Charms of England – the Beauty of Wales" photo exhibition was synchronized unveiled at the city's library, free and open to the public.Nearly90 beautiful pictures of Wales are shown to the public as a friendly region of Chongqing--stunning natural beauty and a long history of traditional culture, people can also learn more about Welsh education resources from the exhibition as well as travel opportunities, discover the different England style.

This weekly activiity includes Welsh green building enterprises visiting Chongqing, Welsh culture salon, Sino-British Forum on innovation and development in early childhood education, "Welsh Cup" English essay contest and entering the Welsh classroom highlights.This is an event to deepen exchanges and explore opportunities for further cooperation between Chongqing and Wales in business, culture, education, the arts and other fi elds.

There is friendship history long between Chongqing and Wales,ever since the two governments signed a friendship and cooperation agreement in2008,the two sides have have conducted extensive and in-depth cooperation exchanges in the fields of economy and trade, culture, science and technology, promoted the understanding and friendship between the two places and achieved good social and economic bene fITs.
