3月27-28日，希臘駐華大使瓦西里奧斯·科斯蒂斯一行2人來渝訪問。重慶市人大常委會副主任杜黎明會見了大使一行，賓主雙方就開展各領(lǐng)域合作進(jìn)行了深入探討。杜黎明指出，雙方在造船、航運(yùn)、農(nóng)業(yè)、旅游等領(lǐng)域的合作空間巨大、前景十分廣闊。科斯蒂斯大使希望加強(qiáng)與重慶在投資貿(mào)易領(lǐng)域的合作，同時鼓勵民間交流，促進(jìn)雙方高校學(xué)者間的互訪和旅游業(yè)發(fā)展，爭取早日開通希臘至中國直航。大使一行還參觀考察了兩江新區(qū)、海扶醫(yī)療和重慶中國三峽博物館。重慶市政府外僑辦副主任王雯陪同出席市領(lǐng)導(dǎo)會見和宴請活動。

Greece's Ambassador in China Visited Chongqing

On March 27-28th, Mr.VASSILIOS COSTIS, Greece's Ambassador in China visited Chongqing. Deputy Director of the Chongqing Municipal People's Congress Du Liming met with the ambassador and his party, the two sides conducted in-depth discussions on cooperation in various fi elds.Du Liming pointed out that both sides have huge cooperative potential and broad prospects in shipbuilding, shipping, agriculture, tourism and other fi elds. Mr. Costis hopes to strengthen cooperation with Chongqing in the areas of investment and trade, while encouraging cultural exchanges, promote scholarly exchanges and tourism development in colleges and universities and hoping for the early opening of direct flight from Greece to China. He also visited the Liangjiang New Area Administrative Committee, HIFU medical and China Three Gorges Museum, Deputy Director of Chongqing Foreign and Overseas Chinese Affairs Offi ce Wang Wen attended the meeting.
