Chen Guihua was born in Putian City， Fujian Province in 1955. He was fond of inkand-wash painting since an early age and instructed by Li Geng at the age of 7. He is very skilled in painting figure， landscape， flower and birds. Now he is a research fellow of China Calligraphy and Painting Research Institute， member of China Artists Association， national first-level artist， etc. He has participated in many exhibitions and won grand prizes.

陳桂華，1955年出生，福建省莆田市涵江區(qū)鰲山村人。

從小鐘情水墨畫，7歲時(shí)得名師李耕指點(diǎn)，擅長(zhǎng)寫意國(guó)畫及人物、山水、花鳥。

現(xiàn)為中國(guó)書畫研究院研究員，中國(guó)美術(shù)家協(xié)會(huì)理事，國(guó)家一級(jí)美術(shù)師。

1973年，獲中國(guó)人民解放軍野戰(zhàn)部隊(duì)三十一軍油畫、國(guó)畫全軍大賽第一名。2002年入編《中華熱土》大型歷史畫冊(cè)第2卷，并被授予“世界華人杰出藝術(shù)家”稱號(hào)。
