Forbidden City To Restrict Number of Daily Visitors
北京故宮博物院宣布將從6月13日開始試行每日限流8萬人次,同時將全面推行實名制售票,實行旅行社團隊全部通過網(wǎng)絡(luò)預(yù)訂門票,取消旅行社團體的現(xiàn)場售票。 故宮將首次實行全員的實名制售票。通過提前預(yù)約,觀眾憑身份證等有效證件,在入口直接刷證進入,不用再拿票。
The Forbidden City announced that starting June 13, only 80,000 visitors per day will be allowed to enter the tourist site. The museum will also implement a real-name registration system for ticket sales.Travel agencies will have to book group tickets online, and the traditional on-site ticket booths will be removed.Tickets will have to be purchased in advanced by those with valid identity cards and other documents. Visitors will have to show an I.D. card to enter rather than a ticket.
South Korea, Australia Relax Visa Restrictions for Chinese Citizens
韓國、澳大利亞兩國相繼宣布,放寬中國人多次往返旅游簽證的政策——澳國將把中國游客多次往返的旅游簽證時限從1年延長至3年并計劃新增一種3年期的商務(wù)簽證;韓國對中國游客新辦理的多次往返簽證從1年和3年延長到5年。廣州的一家旅行社預(yù)測,根據(jù)以往經(jīng)驗,簽證的放寬會對當(dāng)?shù)芈糜斡忻黠@促進。
South Korea will issue five year multiple entry visas for Chinese citizens. The Australian government plans to institute a three year multiple entry visa for Chinese citizens. At the moment, Chinese tourists can only get a one year multiple entry tourist visa to Australia. The country plans to add a three year business visa for eligible Chinese.A Guangzhou travel agent predicted that the countries who have relaxed visa requirements for Chinese citizens will experience a dramatic surge in tourists from China.
China Issues New Plan to Control Water Pollution
國務(wù)院日前印發(fā)《水污染防治行動計劃》。計劃明確了水污染防治工作目標,提出到2020年,長江、黃河、珠江、松花江、淮河、海河、遼河等七大重點流域水質(zhì)優(yōu)良(達到或優(yōu)于Ⅲ類)比例總體達到70%以上,地級及以上城市建成區(qū)黑臭水體均控制在10%以內(nèi)。到2030年,全國七大重點流域水質(zhì)優(yōu)良比例總體達到75%以上,城市建成區(qū)黑臭水體總體得到消除,城市集中式飲用水水源水質(zhì)達到或優(yōu)于Ⅲ類比例總體為95%左右。
The State Council recently issued the “Water Pollution Prevention Action Plan,” in order to better combat water pollution in China. The plan focuses on seven major river valleys including the Yangtze, Yellow and Pearl. The plan states that by 2020, 70% of the water in the major river valleys should be Class III ratio or better. Class III ratio promotes a healthy balance for fish and wildlife, while Class I is potable. Black, smelly polluted water will make up less than 10% of urban water sources and 93% of urban drinking water will be Class III or better.By 2030, 75% of water in seven key river valleys in China should be clean, and dark foul-smelling water will be completely eliminated within urban areas. 95% of the water within urban areas should be at Class III ratio or better.
