其實(shí)，飼養(yǎng)鴿子的傳說最早出現(xiàn)在古羅馬神話里，戰(zhàn)神馬爾斯派鴿子送信給女神維納斯；在舊約圣經(jīng)“諾亞方舟”的故事里，諾亞夫妻為了確定洪水是否已經(jīng)退去，派了鴿子出去查看，當(dāng)鴿子叼回一根橄欖枝時(shí)，諾亞才知道世界上的洪水已經(jīng)退了；另外，1949年的國際和平會(huì)議決定以畢加索在一張海報(bào)上畫的鴿子作為和平的象征，從此也稱鴿子為“和平鴿”。
