May 19， 2016， Intermediate Peo- ples Court in Fujian Nanping City held a public hearing for the former vice chairman of CPPCC in Anhui Procince Han Xiancongs bribery and power-abuse case.

Peoples Procuratorate of Nanping City indicted that from 2003 to 2014， the defendant Xiancong who served as political commissar of the Anqing Municipal CPC Committee， Chuzhou Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China， Secretary General of Anhui Provincial Peoples government， Vice Chairman of convenience department， had taken advantage of his power to profit from 18 units and individuals in the land transfer， project construction， engineering， promotions and other matters directly or through their relatives illegally bribery， the total volume is over 23million yuan.

In addition， Han Xiancong also engaged in malpractices for personal gain through providing low-cost access to land use rights for the company or enterprise and helped them in reducing overdue payment default payment issues which resulting in state property loss up to 222 million yuan.Han Xiancong has taken advantage of his position to seek benefits from others via accepting huge bribes；Abuse of power resulting in significant losses of state-owned assets；Serious violation of the spirit of the central eight provisions. On the same day， the Supreme Peoples Procuratorate website announced that according to law， former vice chairman of the CPPCC in Anhui Province Han Xiancong would be enforced to under the investigation of the suspected f bribery crime..endprint
