I am a backpacker who hopes one day to accomplish my long cherished dream of an earth-circling trip. Upon reading about Deng Shens experiences in your magazine I was of course immediately fascinated with her global adventures. Even though I have read almost all the Lonely Planet books， I have yet to venture into such remote areas as Latin America. I am amazed at how a 27-year-old girl could， through her own efforts， visit 90 or more countries and regions on six continents and learn fi ve languages as well. Her canny crowd-funded globetrotting also showed me how I can raise the cash to realize my dream. As Deng said in the report， travels bring people fresh knowledge of the world and build a clearer vision of the future. Thanks for sharing！

I have only read your magazine once， but found it helpful for fi nding out about the Chinese governments policies and understanding Chinas history and culture. I was particularly interested in your article about the IMBA program， designed for applicants from emerging market countries. I am a benefi ciary of the program， and my classmates are from various countries and regions. We learn much from Chinas development experience. During our fi eld trips to the western regions of Shaanxi and eastern Jiangsu Province we gained a full picture of Chinas economic achievements and the problems local governments encounter. Compared with the poverty alleviation challenges in Shaanxi， visiting Jiangsu was a completely different experience. The transition from manufacturing to service industry has already begun in the Nanjing Development Zone， so refl ecting the farsightedness of local authorities. I believe it will play an important role in stimulating Chinas economy amid the “new normal.”

I work as a credit analyst in the business administration of a company in Peru. I recently read an article in your magazine titled “The China-Chile FTA Was the Right Decision，” in which the Ambassador of Chile to China gave his perspectives on the future of the Chinese economy. As a neighboring country on the South American Continent， in 2010 Peru followed Chile in signing an FTA with the Chinese government. It boosted bilateral trade and benefi ted our two peoples. China is now Perus top and largest trading partner. I have confi dence in the rapid development of ecommerce in China， as well as in the success of Chinas high-speed trains in overseas markets， having traveled on the bullet train from Beijing to Jiangsu – a 1，200-km journey distance – in just fi ve hours. It was an amazing trip that dramatically exceeded all my expectations. I suggest you publish more such interesting and readable articles about interactions between Chinese and Latin American businessmen.
