摘要：從句法學方面對西安大唐西市博物館的英譯文進行簡析，得出問題，完善漢英翻譯，滿足廣大外國游客的需求，進一步促進西安旅游事業(yè)的蓬勃發(fā)展。

大唐西市博物館是一個重要的展示平臺，它的受眾不僅是廣大的國內游客，也是來自全世界各地的外國游客，因此，博物館中各個部分景點的英文介紹顯得尤為重要，筆者對博物館中的英譯文進行了仔細的研究和斟酌，發(fā)現(xiàn)依然存在一些問題，針對這些問題，筆者從句法學層面進行了分析。

一、翻譯問題及分析

句法學是有關正確的英語句子的形成規(guī)范和理解。以下漢英翻譯的問題主要是沒有形成正確的句子。

（一）兩個獨立的單詞寫在一起

以下文字出現(xiàn)在“大唐西市博物館簡介”的英譯文的第一段的第二句：

The museum occupies a total area of 15 mu （mu： Chinese measurement of 263 acres） land with a construction area of 32000 mand display area of 8000 m including 2500 m on-site preservation area.

“mand” 應為 “m and”，是非常明顯的一種錯誤。

同樣的問題出現(xiàn)在第一段的第三句：

In the total collection of more than 20，000 pieces of cultural relics， the collection mainly exhibits thoseof the cultural relics from the archaeological site of the West Market and the meticulously collected treasures from the founders of the museum as well.

“thoseof” 應為 “those of”.

（二）句首字母未大寫

以下文字出現(xiàn)在“大唐西市博物館胡姬酒肆”的英譯文的第三句：

they covered all the accessible beautiful scenes.

很明顯，這句話中的首字母應該大寫。

（三）句子中間少連詞and

以下文字出現(xiàn)在“大唐西市博物館簡介”的英譯文的第二段的第一句：

Tang West Market Museum has a complete exhibition series including

“Permanent Exhibition， Thematic Display， Temporary Exhibition， Special Exhibition & Treasures Appraisal Club”.

此句中，在由逗號隔開的兩個黑斜體部分中間應有一個連詞and連接， 也就是 Temporary Exhibition， and Special Exhibition & Treasures Appraisal Club.

（四）同一個語境中，前后句時態(tài)不一致

以下文字出現(xiàn)在大唐西市博物館“胡姬酒肆”的英譯文的第一句：

Coming from the east of the West Market are the wealthy youth.

這首詩的整體英譯是這樣的：

“Coming from the east of the West Market are the wealthy youth. Bathed in the spring breeze by sitting on the silver saddled-horse. they covered all the accessible beautiful scenes. Where to go next？ They walked into the tavern in laughter.”

以上是對于以下這首李白的詩的英譯：五陵年少金市東，銀鞍白馬度春風。落花踏盡游何處，笑入胡姬酒肆中。

從詩中可以看出這五句英譯的時態(tài)應該是一致的，即可統(tǒng)一使用一般現(xiàn)在時，也可統(tǒng)一使用一般過去時。英譯文的后四句可以認為統(tǒng)一使用了一般過去時，而第一句卻用了一般現(xiàn)在時，這樣的時態(tài)使用不合理，所以第一句應該為 Coming from the east of the West Market were the wealthy youth.

（五）表示同一個意思的單詞，前后句中單復數(shù)不一致

以下文字出現(xiàn)在大唐西市博物館“十字井街匯東西”的英譯文的第一句：

The Silk Road was an exciting and mysterious route leading to the dream for fortune for many merchants. The West Market was the place to help them get the dreams realized.

兩個加粗斜體部分，表達的是同一個事情同一個意思，譯者將第二個做復數(shù)用，顯然不合適，應該和第一個加粗斜體部分形態(tài)保持一致，也就是：The Silk Road was an exciting and mysterious route leading to the dream for fortune for many merchants. The West Market was the place to help them get the dream realized.

（六）單詞用法錯誤

以下文字出現(xiàn)在大唐西市博物館“喪葬服務”的英譯文的第二句：

Since rich burial custom was prevailing in the Tang Dynasty， so the burial objects unearthed from the tombs of the Tang Dynasty are of various kinds.

以上這句話的漢語原文是這樣的：唐代是一個厚葬時代，故唐墓中出土的隨葬品種類繁多。since 是作為連詞使用，表“由于”之意，因此，后面不應該再出現(xiàn)單詞“so”.

以上所列舉出來的這些問題，也并不是什么高難度的問題，作為博物館簡介英譯中出現(xiàn)實屬不該，譯者需要態(tài)度嚴謹一些，在日后的工作中多加注意，盡量避免出現(xiàn)這樣的問題，否則，雖然外國游客可以理解它是一個小錯誤，但在相當大的程度上會留下譯文粗糙的印象，造成不必要的困擾，甚至會使游客對博物館中所展示物品的品質產(chǎn)生一絲不信任。

二、總結

通過句法學方面的分析，將大唐西市博物館中一些典型的翻譯問題呈現(xiàn)給讀者，希望大唐西市博物館中的英譯文能夠日趨完善，滿足外國游客的需求，更好的傳播中國文化。
