“THIS IS THE FIRST TIME THAT I RECEIVED SUCH BEAUTIFUL FLOWERS!”

March 8th2017, on the CZ3103 Guangzhou flight to Beijing, Aunt Liu and her friends were most excited when holding a big bunch red roses: “This is the flrst time that I received such beautiful flowers. I did not expect them to be from China Southern Airlines.” This is one of the scenes that happened during the “Ecuadorian Rose, shine your journey beyond the height” event co-hosted by China Southern Airlines and the Ecuadorian Export and Investment Promotion Bureau, ProEcuador. This particular one took place on the ambassador’s flight.

“第一次收到這么美的花！”

2017年3月8日，CZ3103，廣州飛往北京的航班上，劉阿姨和姐妹們拿著大紅色的玫瑰花激動(dòng)不已：“這輩子第一次收到這么漂亮的花，沒想到竟然是南航送的！” 這是南航攜手厄瓜多爾出口與投資促進(jìn)局舉辦的“厄瓜多爾玫瑰，照耀你超越天際的旅程”活動(dòng)，發(fā)生在大使航班上的一幕。

On the same day, The Ecuadorian ambassador to China H.E. Borja, his wife Mrs. Sandra, and the Ecuadorian Consul General in Guangzhou, Mrs. Molina gifted Ecuadorian preserved roses bracelets and fresh roses to Chinese passengers. Women in the China Southern VIP Lounge also had the opportunity to receive an preserved rose bracelet made by Ecuadorian roses. The preserved rose bracelet retains the beauty and fragrance of Ecuadorian roses and can be preserved for three to flve years.

“When you gift someone with roses, the aroma will stay with you.” Guo Jianye, China Southern Airlines' Chief Service Offlcer, said, “China Southern Airlines adheres to the business philosophy that customers always come flrst. The company is committed to providing passengers with comfortable, convenient and smooth travel services. This time we worked with the Consulate General of Ecuador to send festive blessings and tributes to female passengers to express our gratitude for their support.” According to Wu Guoxiang, SVP of China Southern's Marketing Division, the organisers prepared a total of nearly 10,000 Ecuadorian preserved flowers and fresh roses for decoration and as gifts. This event covers 10,000 passengers on 50 flights from Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport to 14 domestic destinations including Beijing, Changchun, Chengdu, Chongqing, Dalian, Nanjing, Qingdao, Shanghai, Tianjin, Wuhan, Wuxi, Kunming, Zhengzhou, and Xi'an.

In 2016 the Ecuadorian rose had already been a special guest to China Southern Airlines. The Event of “An Ecuadorian Rose for a Woman who Dreams High” was widely appreciated by passengers, international media and society. It also promoted exchanges between people from both China and Ecuador. Since March 1st 2016, Ecuador has implemented a tourism visa-free policy for Chinese citizens, meaning Chinese citizens can stay in Ecuador for a total of 90 days per year. In April this year, China Southern Airlines will launch the flrst Latin American route - Guangzhou - Vancouver -Mexico City. With SkyTeam network. this will enable China Southern Airlines passengers to travel to Ecuador to explore the origin of the rose in Ecuador.
