Headmaster Jack Ma Greets New Students at Hupan College

近日，由阿里巴巴創(chuàng)始人馬云等八位重量級(jí)人物共同創(chuàng)辦的、專為企業(yè)家打造、坐落在浙江杭州的湖畔大學(xué)，迎來(lái)了第三期學(xué)員。在新學(xué)期開學(xué)典禮上，作為這所學(xué)校的校長(zhǎng)，馬云在全校董事以及第一、第二期老學(xué)員面前為新學(xué)員授予?；眨瑐鞒泻洗髮W(xué)的開學(xué)傳統(tǒng)。據(jù)悉，湖畔大學(xué)的入學(xué)門檻非常高，所有應(yīng)聘者須滿足下列條件：學(xué)員必須是創(chuàng)業(yè)3年以上的企業(yè)決策者；公司規(guī)模超過30人；年度營(yíng)業(yè)額在三千萬(wàn)以上。除此之外，學(xué)員還必須有3位推薦人，其中至少1位為湖畔大學(xué)指定推薦人。

The Hupan College, a school for entrepreneurs established by Alibaba founder Jack Ma among eight heavy weight names, began its third term in Hangzhou, East China’s Zhejiang province recently.Jack Ma, president of the college, awarded all of the new students with school badges at the opening ceremony in front of the school board and students of the first and second terms. This is regarded as a tradition of the college. The college holds very high expectations for its applicants. It only accepts candidates who have at least three years’ experience running their own businesses, a team of more than 30 employees and an annual revenue exceeding 30 million yuan.In addition, they must get three recommendations, at least one of which must be appointed by the college.

擁有拱形宴會(huì)廳、意大利風(fēng)格花園和湖泊的?？怂箍地惽f園，將成為北京大學(xué)匯豐商學(xué)院的分支機(jī)構(gòu)。房地產(chǎn)代理公司Carter Jonas的合伙人Jon Silversides表示：“我可以確認(rèn)，我們已經(jīng)完成交割合同，下個(gè)月生效。”據(jù)報(bào)道，北京大學(xué)匯豐商學(xué)院將在?？怂箍地惽f園設(shè)置校區(qū)，成交價(jià)格為880萬(wàn)英鎊。該校區(qū)位于英國(guó)著名學(xué)術(shù)中心牛津之外，但不會(huì)成為世界著名的牛津大學(xué)的一部分。校區(qū)占地6.17公頃（15.25英畝），中心部分是原始莊園，建于19世紀(jì)90年代，自1976年以來(lái)，這個(gè)地方由英國(guó)最大的大學(xué)之一開放大學(xué)使用。

Foxcombe Hall, which has a vaulted banqueting hall, Italian-style gardens and a lake, is to become a branch of Peking University’s HSBC Business School.“I can confirm we’ve exchanged contracts with completion due next month.”said Jon Silversides, partner at estate agency Carter Jonas. The school is setting up camp in Foxcombe Hall which it recently purchased for a reported￡8.8million. The campus located just outside Oxford, a hub of British academic excellence, will not be part of the world-famous University of Oxford. Spread over 6.17 hectares (15.25 acres), the campus centre piece is the original house, built in the 1890s,and the complex had been used by the Open University -- one of the UK’s biggest universities -- since 1976.

Shanghai Becomes World’s Biggest Trading City

據(jù)官方數(shù)據(jù)顯示，得益于政府鼓勵(lì)和促進(jìn)貿(mào)易的措施，目前上海已經(jīng)成為了全球最大的國(guó)際貿(mào)易城市。2016年上海全市港口進(jìn)出口額近6.9萬(wàn)億元人民幣，占全國(guó)生產(chǎn)總值的28.3%和全球貿(mào)易的3%。上海因此取代了香港和新加坡，成為全球最大的國(guó)際貿(mào)易城市。今年第一季度上海的對(duì)外貿(mào)易額增長(zhǎng)20%，總額7500億人民幣左右。上海自貿(mào)區(qū)也有助于貿(mào)易變得更加高效，并且通過加快通關(guān)和外匯支付來(lái)降低成本。官方數(shù)據(jù)顯示，2016年試點(diǎn)項(xiàng)目貿(mào)易額增長(zhǎng)了6倍，總額近25億人民幣。

Official figures are suggesting Shanghai is now the world’s largest international trading city due to the government’s measures to encourage and upgrade trade. Imports and exports through the city’s ports were nearly 6.9 trillion yuan 2016, accounting for 28.3 percent of national value and 3 percent of global trade. Shanghai overtook Hong Kong and Singapore to be the largest international trading city. He said Shanghai’s foreign trade is set to grow 20 percent in the first quarter of this year to around 750 billion yuan. The Shanghai free trade zone has also helped trade become more efficient and cut costs through faster customs clearance and foreign exchange payments. Official data shows trade conducted in the pilot program rose six times from a year ago to nearly 2.5 billion yuan 2016.
