WHAT'S IN AN AIRCRAFT'S FIRST AID KIT?

Regarded as the angel in white in fl ight, the humble-looking aircraft fi rst aid kit can often be a life saver in emergency situations. So an essential part of any airline's services is to always keep the kit replenished and up-to-date. In-fl ight fi rst aid kits, usually stored in an aircraft's baggage racks or cabinets, are intended for use in emergency situations. They are very different from the fi rst aid kits commonly used in hospitals. They must be stocked for all medical emergencies that may occur in the sky. Flight attendants can provide basic medical treatment, when necessary. Staying calm and having enough relevant skills are prerequisites for all attendants.

The first aid kit is primarily used to treat wounds and perform

cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

The sanitation &anti-epidemic kit is mainly intended for the sanitation of cabins. For example, surface disinfection tablets and coagulants are used for the initial cleanup and disinfection of contaminated surfaces and floors by effectively eliminating all types of bacteria. In addition, the kit is also used to remove potential sources of infection, such as blood, urine, vomit and excrement, to prevent cross-infection among passengers and to provide a safe and comfortable environment.
