Born in 1964， Yao Hongxia now is a national first-level female artist， member both of China Artists Association and China Folk Artists Association， vicechairperson of Baotou Federation of Literary and Art Circles as well as vicepresident of Baotou Art Museum etc. She has devoted herself to the arts of papercutting and traditional Chinese painting for more than 30 years， cultivating lots of talents in these areas and making great contributions to the development and protection of Chinese intangible cultural heritage. Whats more， she also published many collections of artworks.

要紅霞，1964年出生，大學(xué)學(xué)歷，國(guó)家一級(jí)美術(shù)師，中國(guó)美術(shù)家協(xié)會(huì)會(huì)員、中國(guó)民間文藝家協(xié)會(huì)會(huì)員、前中國(guó)剪紙藝委會(huì)副主席、中國(guó)女畫家協(xié)會(huì)會(huì)員、內(nèi)蒙古民間文藝家協(xié)會(huì)顧問、包頭市文聯(lián)副主席、包頭民間文藝家協(xié)會(huì)主席，現(xiàn)為包頭美術(shù)館副館長(zhǎng)。

曾獲首屆包頭文學(xué)藝術(shù)杰出貢獻(xiàn)獎(jiǎng)，先后被包頭市政府授予包頭首屆“鹿城十杰青年”“十杰女藝術(shù)家”“5512工程”領(lǐng)軍人才、首屆“鹿城英才”等稱號(hào)；被內(nèi)蒙古自治區(qū)政府授予“工藝美術(shù)大師”“德藝雙馨”“突出貢獻(xiàn)專家”等稱號(hào)；先后獲得國(guó)家級(jí)突出貢獻(xiàn)獎(jiǎng)5次。

剪紙、國(guó)畫作品參加由文化部、中國(guó)美術(shù)家協(xié)會(huì)、中國(guó)民間文藝家協(xié)會(huì)主辦的展覽40多次，獲“山花獎(jiǎng)”金獎(jiǎng)等各類獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)28次。國(guó)畫作品被內(nèi)蒙古美術(shù)館收藏，剪紙作品被國(guó)外、中國(guó)美術(shù)館等機(jī)構(gòu)收藏，出版郵票、首日封等郵品。應(yīng)邀在德國(guó)索林根學(xué)院、中國(guó)臺(tái)灣嘉義中學(xué)、香港教育署、南京大學(xué)、內(nèi)蒙古科技大學(xué)、包頭輕工職業(yè)學(xué)院等20多個(gè)學(xué)院機(jī)構(gòu)講學(xué)。

30多年來(lái)，在包頭堅(jiān)持開展剪紙教育，培養(yǎng)出一大批剪紙人才，獲得國(guó)家及省級(jí)獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)達(dá)140多人次，許多學(xué)員已經(jīng)成為市級(jí)、省級(jí)代表性傳承人，為國(guó)家非物質(zhì)文化遺產(chǎn)保護(hù)項(xiàng)目“包頭剪紙”的傳承做出貢獻(xiàn)。

出版《怎樣學(xué)剪紙》《中國(guó)剪紙創(chuàng)作與創(chuàng)新》《要紅霞國(guó)畫集》《要紅宇、要紅霞國(guó)畫作品集》，主編出版《包頭剪紙作品集》。endprint
