The Qingming Festival，or Tomb-sweeping（掃墓） Day，is a traditional（傳統(tǒng)的） festival in Chinese culture（文化）. It usually falls on April 4th to 6th each year.

The Qingming Festival is an important festival for Chinese families to sweep tombs. It is an activity（活動(dòng)） for paying respect to（向……表達(dá)敬意） the dead（死者）. People would clear away weeds（野草） and build up（增大） the tombs with new soil（土壤）. They would bring things like food，fruit，wine（酒） and spirit money（紙錢(qián)） to the tomb site（地點(diǎn)）.
