一、 教材及作者簡(jiǎn)介
《My Lucky Day》是慶子.凱薩茲的作品。她是日本著名的女藝術(shù)家。畢業(yè)于美國(guó)加利福尼亞大學(xué),在編創(chuàng)故事時(shí),她喜歡把自己當(dāng)作故事中的人物之一,常有意想不到的靈感。主要作品有:《Dont laugh, Joe !》、《The Rat and the tiger》……其中《My Lucky Day》描述了一只小豬原本要去兔子家玩,可是誤闖入了狐貍的家,不慎被狐貍抓住,小豬運(yùn)用智慧,成功脫險(xiǎn)的故事。學(xué)生們認(rèn)識(shí)了動(dòng)物,了解了習(xí)性,教師還可以借助動(dòng)物繪本故事讓學(xué)生喜歡閱讀,感受讀的樂趣,養(yǎng)成意群閱讀的習(xí)慣。
二、Teaching Points & difficulties(第一課時(shí))
1.Points:在圖片的幫助下聽懂、讀懂、理解繪本故事,同時(shí)體會(huì)角色心情的變化。
2.Difficulties:培養(yǎng)學(xué)生體會(huì)角色心情變化,同時(shí)嘗試借助故事地圖復(fù)述課文。

四、Teaching Process
Step1. Warm-up & Lead-in
1.Lets chant together(邊做動(dòng)作邊Chant),導(dǎo)出“pig”“l(fā)ucky”兩個(gè)單詞。
2.What do you think of pig? Today we will learn a different pig.
3.Look at the cover of the book.
What can you see on the cover?
【通過認(rèn)真觀察封面,觀看的教師的演繹帶著一個(gè)疑問即
(小豬看見狐貍為什么不害怕?)集中精神,凝聚好奇進(jìn)入故事繪本的閱讀。】
Step2. While-reading
1.Read the whole book by yourselves,then answer the following question.(整體感知)
(1) Why the pig was caught by the fox?
(2)Does the fox eat the pig?
(3)How many ideas does the pig have?
2.The first good idea. Read Picture 4 to 6,
(1)Three Qs:
What is the pigs first good idea?
Why does the fox give the pig a bath?
How does he do?
(2)出示對(duì)話,跟讀模仿,注意情緒。
(3)分角色進(jìn)行朗讀。
(4)圖片呈現(xiàn)So the fox gets busy.,動(dòng)作教學(xué)collect twigs/ make fire/ carry some water. “twigs”詞匯教學(xué)tw 和 ig 通過詞匯遷移的方法學(xué)習(xí)如:twin、twenty /pig 、dig。

3.The second good idea.
(1)Read Picture 7 to 9, find the following answers:
What is the pigs second good idea?
What does the pig eat?
What does the pig say after the dinner?
(2)“fatten...up”,通過形象的照片,讓學(xué)生理解fatten...up的意思。
4.The third good idea.
Now the pig is clean and fat, can the fox eat him? Lets go on reading, find what the foxs third good idea is.
(1)通過看圖,導(dǎo)出massage這個(gè)單詞 What does the massage mean? Why does the pig want a massage? 講解“tough”的含義,通過反義詞的方式猜詞。
(2)How does the fox massage?
Read the Picture 10 to 11, 分角色演一演,理解“push、pull、pound”,通過互相按摩體會(huì)小豬和狐貍的身體變化。
(3)After the massage, how does the pig feeling? But where is the fox ?
觀察圖片發(fā)現(xiàn)狐貍累倒了,分析角色心情,演繹角色心情。
5. 指導(dǎo)朗讀:When the fox are sleeping, does the pig want to wake him up ? No, so can the pig say it loudly? So you should low down your voice.
The pig is running back home luckily, what does he say ?
“What a bath! What a dinner! What a massage! This is my lucky day!”
Ask a student to act the pig.(讓學(xué)生來(lái)演演。)
6. See a flash, read the story from very beginning.
【通過全文看、聽、讀繪本,對(duì)故事脈絡(luò)梳理并回顧】
Step 3. Post-reading
1.重讀繪本,觀察結(jié)尾的意外,小豬回家后看地址薄。
What is the pig doing?
What kind of book is he reading?
2.What do you think of the pig?
再次分析評(píng)價(jià)小豬,發(fā)現(xiàn)這也是只富有挑戰(zhàn)和有些狡猾的小豬。
3.完成故事的整體學(xué)習(xí),感知故事,表?yè)P(yáng)學(xué)生今天都是lucky的,他們用智慧幫助了小豬。

Read other picture books written by the author by yourself after class.
