2018年考研英語一的小作文是一封邀請信，要求考生給在你們大學工作的所有外國專家們寫一封電子郵件，邀請他們參加畢業(yè)典禮。電子郵件與書信的格式一樣，也是從稱呼寫起。稱呼要頂格寫，以示尊重。雖然這是一封寫給所有外國專家的信，但它不是一封公開信，所以不能稱呼Dear experts，我們可以稱呼Dear Sir or Madam。

這封電子郵件的正文可以寫成三段。第一段首先說明自己的身份，比如你是你們大學的學生會主席，接著表明寫這封郵件的目的——邀請他或她參加畢業(yè)典禮。第二段依次交代這次畢業(yè)典禮的具體時間、地點和其他信息。為了使字數(shù)達到要求，這一段可以合理地虛構(gòu)一些畢業(yè)典禮的信息。比如，學術(shù)委員會的全體成員將會參加這次畢業(yè)典禮并向畢業(yè)生頒發(fā)文憑，在畢業(yè)典禮之后將為外國專家安排晚宴等。第三段希望收信人接受自己的邀請，并請收信人盡早回信，告知是否能參加，以便做必要的安排。由于這是一封公務(wù)信函，所以要注意表達禮貌得體，我們可以通過措辭和使用虛擬語氣來實現(xiàn)這一點。郵件的最后是署名，寫在正文下方中間偏右的位置，上一行可寫Yours sincerely，下一行寫Li Ming，上下對齊。下面請看范文：

2018年考研英語一的大作文繼續(xù)考漫畫作文。在本題的漫畫中，一名大學生正在電腦前選課。他似乎面對兩門課程正猶豫不決：一門課知識新、重創(chuàng)新、有難度；另一門課給分高、易通過、作業(yè)少。按理說，面對這樣兩門課程時，這名大學生應該毫不猶豫地選擇前者，可他卻躊躇不定。所以這幅漫畫反映的是一些大學生回避有難度的課程，而選擇容易的課程的傾向。

The picture above shows a college student choosing between two optional courses before a computer.He seems undecided as to which one to take: one with little coursework and easy to pass,another challenging but providing new knowledge and emphasizing creativity.The picture reflects a tendency among college students towards choosing easy courses.

But I recommend that college students sign up for challenging courses,as there are many benefits to enrolling in courses that are demanding.First,taking difficult courses can foster creativity in college students and offers them access to new knowledge,which will help them to succeed academically and later professionally.More important,enrolling in tough courses helps college students to gain confidence in themselves,for there are few confidence boosters as powerful as succeeding in a demanding course at college.

Albert Einstein said it best,“Education is what remains after one has forgotten everything learned in school.” Thus,I would like to advise college students to choose challenging courses that can equip them with creativity and confidence,which will in turn benefit them in their studies and future career.(182 words)
