Rubidium Tin Polymetallic Ore Exploring Project of Tiantangshan Mine Area was Selected As 2019 Key Projects In Guangdong
Recently, Guangdong Development and Reform Commission released Guangdong 2019 Key Construction Projects Plan, which consists of 1170 provincial-level key projects and 628 provincial-level key preparatory projects of which the preliminary work is being carried out. “Rubidium Tin Polymetallic Ore Exploring Project of Tiantangshan Mine Area, Mabugang, Longchuan County, Guangdong” owned by Guangdong Guangding Mining Group was selected into this Plan.
Upon the assessment of China Mining Association, the reserves of Rubidium Tin Polymetallic Ore in Tiantangshan mining area achieves 175600 tons, being the first super-large independent explored Rubidium deposit so far in the world, and one of the few “easy-to-operate” Rubidium deposits. With its prospective Rubidium resource value exceeds RMB one trillion, this deposit, following rare earth, is another dominant mineral of our country. Rubidium can be widely used in various areas, so rational development and utility of Rubidium is of huge significance to the transformation and upgrading of China’s economy, the formation of a batch of new industry chains and the improvement of international competitiveness of our relevant industries.
Geological data show that this deposit consists of not only primary mineral of independent super-large Rubidium deposit but also intergrowth of more than 10 types of minerals including tin, tungsten, lead zinc, copper, niobium, tantalum, gold, silver and bismuth. Currently, geologists have identified 157 ore bodies in mine area, including 20 hornfels type Rubidium ore bodies, 8 greisen type ore bodies and 129 tin tungsten and other ore bodies. Ore prospecting is very promising.
