Hailiang Nonferrous Kicked off the Construction of Smart Manufacturing Industrial Park The Investment of 6.1 Billion Sets up Global Benchmark

On Dec., 8, Hailiang Nonferrous Smart Manufacturing Industrial Park performed a grand opening ceremony in Zhuji Modern Environmental Protection Equipment High-tech Industrial Park. The project adopts technologies that are independently developed by Hailiang that are characterized by automation, intellectualization and low energy consumption. Those technologies achieve international advanced level and mark that Hailiang has upgraded conventional traditional manufacturing to smart manufacturing. This project is of great significance to the development of Zhejiang nonferrous metal processing industry to one that is green, intensive, smart, high-end and internationalized.

Hailiang Nonferrous Smart Manufacturing Industrial Park boasts a total investment of RMB 6.128 billion and the area of 1000 mu. Its construction plan consists of three phases: Phase 1 is “The Smart Energy Saving and Emission Reduction, Relocation and Extension of 400000 TPY Copper and Copper Alloy Rod” that will be completed in Dec., 2019; phase 2 is “150000 TPY Precision Aluminum Product Construction Project” that will be completed in June, 2021; phase 3 is “Extension of Upstream and Downstream of Nonferrous Metal Processing Industry and The Construction of Innovative Experiment Platform” that will be completed by Dec., 2022.

After the entire line is completed, the Park will be equipped with international advanced capacity that features automation, intellectualization and low energy consumption. The process will feature cleanness, simplification, smart control technologies and so on. The products will feature precision, environmental protection, zero defect and so on. This project meets with the national strategic requirement of nonferrous metal processing industry development and the standard of low energy consumption.

From the point of copper processing industry features, the biggest significance brought by the transformation from traditional manufacturing to smart manufacturing is that the new smart production line constructed with the most advanced equipment and technologies will swiftly lead us to the commanding point of this industry.
