A Super-large Aluminum Mine Discovered In Henan, With Estimated Resource Of 120 Million Tons

On March, 11, according to the information from Luoyang Natural Resources and Planning Bureau, with the deepening of strategic cooperation between Luoyang and Bureau of Geology and Mineral Resources of Henan Province, great achievements have been made in prospecting, specifically in tungsten-molybdenum mine, silver mine and lead-zinc mine. These performances not only contributes to the construction of “Resource Luoyang” but also provides strong support for economic development in Luoyang.

It is know from responsible person of Luoyang Natural Resources and Planning Bureau, breakthroughs have been made in tungsten-molybdenum mine exploration in Luanchuan. Newly discovered molybdenum metal was 970000 tons, tungsten trioxide of 940000 tons, lead + zinc metal of 246000 tons. According to study, molybdenum in this area will grow into super-large tungsten-molybdenum mine. During fluorite mine exploring in Luanchuan and Songxian, we have discovered many large and medium-sized fluorite deposit.

Furthermore, during the exploring for silver mind and lead-zinc mine in Luoning etc., we have discovered lead+zinc metal of 2 million tons and silver metal of 4000 tons. A super-large bauxite was discovered in deep coal field in Yanlong, with estimated resource of 120 million tons.
