The first period of Unit 11 ，which is about the usage of the simple past tense .The tense is the basis of the whole unit .

（1）. Play the song 《Old Macdonald ?Had a Farm》 to lead into the place----on the farm ;

（2）. New words and phrases

Feed chickens ? ?talk with a farmer ? take some photos

Step 3. Presentation

According to Carol and her friends activities last week ，know about the simple past tense.

A.含義 ：表示過去某一時(shí)刻發(fā)生的動作或存在的狀態(tài);表示過去某一時(shí)間段經(jīng)?；蚍磸?fù)發(fā)生的動作。

B.用法：動詞變?yōu)檫^去式。

C.動詞過去式的變化：規(guī)則變化和不規(guī)則變化。
