重點(diǎn)掌握祈使語氣的用法,包括表示允許的can及其當(dāng)情態(tài)動詞用的 have to do,must;以及各種可以用在表述規(guī)章制度的動詞和句型。難點(diǎn)在于情態(tài)動詞的用法,以及祈使句與它的應(yīng)答。
教學(xué)設(shè)計:
Step1.1a
Have students cover the school rules in the picture and list of school rules.
Elict from students the answers to the following questions.
T: Are any school rules being broken in the picture?
T:What school rules are being broken.
Then let students talk about the pictures in 1a.
Step2.1b
After 1b, have students listen for specific words in the recording. Follow this procedure.
1.Write on the board

2.Dont eat _________.
Dont _______ to music _____________.
2.Tell students to listen and write down the missing words.
3.Play the recording and elicit the answers from students.
(1)Dont run in the hallways.

(4)Write the numbers after the names in 1b.

1.Write the rules on the board and change the rules on the board into sentences into using “can”,”cant” or “must”.
2.Practice the conversation in pairs.
Step4 2a
1.Before listening let students predict which activities Alan and Cindy will talk about and what they can or cant do at school.
2.After listening check the answers in groups.
Step5 2b
Listen again and circle can or cant above.
Step 6 2c
Use the target language to make up new conversation using the rules in 2a.
Step 7 2d
1.Read the conversation by themselves and change the rules to practice the conversation in pairs.
2.Have students create new conversations using the rules at home or at school.
