When I was little, my mom always told me, “Your handwriting reflects who you are.” When I started to learn calligraphy, I realized that it was not so easy to write every stroke and I wanted to give up. But my teacher always told me, “You can do it.” Encouraged by his words, I continued to practice every day and now, I am able to write two forms of calligraphy.

From learning calligraphy, I can now understand the importance of persistence. When you come across setbacks and hardships, just tell yourself,“Where there’s a will, there’s a way.” Calligraphy enhanced my personality and I love calligraphy, as it made me grow into a better person.
