前情提要:舒老師帶著亞瑟和同學(xué)們到博物館參觀。在館內(nèi),亞瑟急急忙忙地找衛(wèi)生間,卻誤入了印第安展廳……
“I’m in big trouble,” said Arthur, “if I don’t get out of here fast.”
He ran out the door and left the Indians behind him.
“我得趕緊離開這里,不然就麻煩了。”
亞瑟對(duì)自己說。
他飛快地跑出門,離開了那些印第安人模型。
“What’s so funny?” asked Mr. Ratburn.
He turned around and saw only Indians makingbasketsandarrows.
“什么事那么好笑?”舒老師問。
他轉(zhuǎn)過身,只看見正在編籃子和做箭頭的印第安人模型。
Arthurcreptalong the dark hall to the next door.
“I sure hope this is the boys’ bathroom,” hesighed.
亞瑟在走廊里摸黑朝前走,走到又一扇門前。
他自言自語地說:“但愿這一定是衛(wèi)生間。”

And Arthur’s teacher was telling his class all about it.
Everyone laughed when they saw Arthur.
Mr. Ratburn turned to see what they were laughing at.
But not before Arthur became a Pilgrim boy.
舒老師正在外面給其他同學(xué)講解這一時(shí)期的歷史。
同學(xué)們看見亞瑟,又哄笑起來。
舒老師轉(zhuǎn)過身去看大家到底在笑什么,可惜亞瑟已經(jīng)假扮成一個(gè)清教徒小孩兒了。
When Mr. Ratburn’s class left, Arthurtook offthe Pilgrim hat.
“I’ve got to go NOW!” he said. He leftin a hurry.
直到舒老師和同學(xué)們都走開了,亞瑟才摘下清教徒的帽子。
“我得趕緊離開這兒!”他邊說邊慌慌張張地跑了出去。

“I was making history,” said Arthur.
亞瑟在介紹喬治·華盛頓的展覽櫥窗前找到了舒老師和同學(xué)們?!皝喩阍趺慈チ四敲淳??”舒老師問。
“我呀,親自去歷史場(chǎng)景里逛了一圈!”亞瑟回答。
