在影像里看見開放的重慶

12 月1 日，一個平凡的星期天。

在家吃過午飯，馬婉竹便開車帶著自己3 歲的女兒Kaylee 來到了冉家壩。

這里，有一家國際私塾。近半年來，Kaylee 每到星期天都會在這里上一堂兩個小時的英語口語課。

“Kaylee，Nice to see you again!”一見到Kaylee，老師Saiesha Naidoo 蹲下身子，和小朋友打招呼。

Saiesha Naidoo來自南非，說話時臉上總是掛著微笑。與她一樣，這里所有的英語老師，都是來自母語是英語的國家。

“學(xué)英語口語，環(huán)境很重要，這也是我把女兒送來跟外國人學(xué)習(xí)的原因之一?！瘪R婉竹說自己從小學(xué)習(xí)英語，到如今還是一口“啞巴英語”，“重慶有很多外國人，幾乎每天我都能見到一兩個，要想找一個外國人來教孩子練口語也不是難事?！?/p>

一如馬婉竹所見所聞，如今正在加快建設(shè)內(nèi)陸開放高地的重慶，到處都能見到洋面孔的留學(xué)生、游客、白領(lǐng)、商人、專家等。

洋面孔越來越多，也從側(cè)面反映了重慶這座城市的開放與國際化水平。

當(dāng)然，一座城市的開放與國際化不單單體現(xiàn)在此——

重慶構(gòu)建起了“1278”國家級內(nèi)陸開放體系，連續(xù)8年實際利用外資超過100 億美元，世界500 強企業(yè)累計落戶重慶近300 家，與全球224 個國家和地區(qū)開展經(jīng)貿(mào)往來，與全球45 個城市締結(jié)為國際友好城市，在渝外國領(lǐng)事機構(gòu)達10 家，對53 個國家由施行“72 小時過境免簽”延長至144 小時……

透過這一張張照片、一組組影像，我們或許能更直觀地看見一個開放的重慶。

On December 1, an another Sunday.

After having lunch at home, Ma Wanzhu drove her 3-year-old daughter Kaylee to Ranjiaba.

There is an international private school. Kaylee has had a two-hour oral English class here every Sunday for nearly half a year.

"Kaylee, Nice to see you again!" Saiesha Naidoo, Kaylee's teacher, greeted at the sight of Kaylee.

She is from South Africa and always speaks with a smile on her face. Like her, all the English teachers here come from English-speaking countries.

"The language environment plays a very important role in learning spoken English, so I sent my daughter here to study with foreigners. Although I have been learning English since I was a child, until now, I still cannot speak it well." "There are many foreigners in Chongqing, and almost every day I come across one or two of them. So it is easy to find a foreigner to teach my child spoken English." Ma Wanzhu said.

As Ma Wanzhu has seen and heard, in Chongqing, the pioneer of opening-up in the hinterland China, people can come across foreign students, tourists, white-collar workers, businessmen, experts, etc. everywhere.

To some extent, it reflects the level of openness and internationalization of this city.

Moreover, as an open and global city,

Chongqing has set up a “1+2+7+8” openingup platform system; actually absorbed foreign capital over 10 billion US dollars for eight consecutive years; had nearly 300 of the world's top 500 enterprises, conducted economic and trade exchanges with 224 countries and regions around the world, established friendly relationship with 45 cities worldwide, opened 10 foreign consular offices, and extended the "72-hour transit visa-free" to 144 hours for 53 countries...

From these photos and groups of images, we may be able to see an open Chongqing in a more intuitive way.
