The Scope of Manuscript

The types of manuscript cover original researches, brief reports, investigation studies, case reports and reviews of current researches, letters to the editor and other columns in the field of nursing of traditional Chinese and western medicine.

Submission of Papers

The manuscript must be the original work of the author(s) and have not been published elsewhere or under consideration for another publication.All manuscripts should be submitted online through https://www.journalonweb.com/jin/.

Manuscript Preparation

All manuscripts should be written in standard grammatical English using computer software, arranged in the following order and saved as single DOC (Word) file.

1.Title page:The title page should include: (1) article type; (2) a concise title, but informative; (3) a short title for use as running head; (4) first name, middle and last name of each author, and all letters of the last name in upper case (e.g.Li-Juan TONG, Janes ROOSEVELT); (5) name of the department and institutional affiliation of each author; and (6) address, phone and e-mail of the corresponding author.

2.Abstract and key words:The abstract should not exceed 300 words that concisely summarize the paper’s purpose, significant findings and conclusions.It is necessary to list 4-8 key words or phrases at the end of the abstract.

3.Main text:The main text should include Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results and Discussion.The Introduction should be succinct, clearly stating the purpose and rationale of the study.In Materials and Methods, the procedures should be described in sufficient detail to allow duplication by an independent observer.Results and Discussion may be combined or divided.They should be written concisely and logically with emphasis on novel findings.

4.Acknowledgments:All acknowledgments (if any) should be included at the end of the main text and before references.

5.Financial support and sponsorship:Financial support and sponsorship (if any), should be included at the end of the main text and before references.

6.Potential conflicts of interest:Authors are responsible for disclosing all financial and personal relationships that might bias their work.Author should state explicitly whether potential conflicts do or do not exist in the manuscript on a conflict-of-interest notification page that follows the text body, providing the additional detail, if necessary, in a cover letter that accompanies the manuscript.

7.References:References published in Journal of Integrative Nursing should be numbered in Arabic numerals in order of citation in the text, including citations in tables and figures.Complete author citation is required (use of “et al” is acceptable).References should conform to the style of the Journal.Examples are as follows:

8.Tables:All tables have to be created with Table 1, Table 2, etc, and should be cited consecutively in the main text by Arabic numbers.Each table has to have a descriptive title on the top of the table.Provide explanations for any nonstandard abbreviations in footnotes to the table.

9.Figures:All figures should be cited consecutively in the main text by Arabic numbers (Figure 1, Figure 2, etc).All figures must be submitted in TIFF or JPEG format as separate files labeled with the corresponding numbers.
