Snoopy never speaks， but he thinks a lot. He often lies（躺） on the roof（屋頂） of his doghouse and thinks. He thinks he is a writer， a doctor， a pilot（飛行員） or even a snake. He just doesn’t like being a dog.

Snoopy says， “Yesterday I was a dog. Today I’m a dog. Tomorrow I’ll probably（很可能） still be a dog. Sigh（嘆氣）！ There’s so little hope for advancement（進(jìn)步）.”

He is a little bird. He is Snoopy’s closest（最親密的） friend. He speaks a bird language. But only Snoopy understands.
