又是一年春光好。今年四月第38屆濰坊國際風(fēng)箏會將在國際風(fēng)箏都濰坊盛大綻放，消息一出，引全球矚目。

1984年，迎著改革開放的春風(fēng)，首屆濰坊國際風(fēng)箏會拉開帷幕。來自美國、日本、英國、加拿大、荷蘭、澳大利亞、新西蘭、新加坡等11個國家和地區(qū)的18支風(fēng)箏隊參加了大會。由于首屆濰坊國際風(fēng)箏會的成功舉辦，1985年，經(jīng)國務(wù)院批準(zhǔn)，濰坊成為甲類開放城市，掀開了濰坊市發(fā)展史上嶄新的一頁，從此濰坊憑借小小的風(fēng)箏，走向了世界。

1988年第五屆濰坊國際風(fēng)箏會期間，濰坊被推選為“世界風(fēng)箏都”，使濰坊市收獲了世界風(fēng)箏文化領(lǐng)域一塊沉甸甸的金牌。1989年國際風(fēng)箏聯(lián)合會在濰坊成立并將總部設(shè)在濰坊，進(jìn)一步提升了濰坊的地位與知名度。國際風(fēng)箏聯(lián)合會現(xiàn)有理事國、地區(qū)16個，會員國、地區(qū)67個。

全球規(guī)模最大的萬人風(fēng)箏放飛表演、世界風(fēng)箏錦標(biāo)賽、濰坊風(fēng)箏大賽、中國（濰坊）傳統(tǒng)風(fēng)箏扎制大賽等品牌活動及賽事，吸引著全世界的風(fēng)箏愛好者齊聚濰坊，截至目前，共有72個國家和地區(qū)參加過濰坊國際風(fēng)箏會。

2019年第36屆濰坊國際風(fēng)箏會有65個國家和地區(qū)的100多支風(fēng)箏代表隊參加。2020年受疫情影響，第37屆濰坊國際風(fēng)箏會舉辦了歷時一個月的“云上風(fēng)箏節(jié)”，有45個國家的51支代表隊參加放飛活動；來自全國31個省市自治區(qū)的103支風(fēng)箏代表隊現(xiàn)場參會，是歷年來國內(nèi)參賽隊伍最全的一次。

銀線連四海，風(fēng)箏傳友誼。通過風(fēng)箏和風(fēng)箏會，濰坊插上了一雙通向世界的翅膀，也找到了一個讓世界了解自己的坐標(biāo)。濰坊通過風(fēng)箏會這座橋梁，實現(xiàn)了走出去、請進(jìn)來的夢想，走出了一條全方位對外開放之路。濰坊接待過來自世界幾乎所有國家和地區(qū)的朋友，世界五大洲也都留下了濰坊人開拓創(chuàng)新的腳步。以風(fēng)箏為媒，濰坊邁出了對外開放、交流合作的豪邁步伐，已與213個國家和地區(qū)建立了經(jīng)貿(mào)合作關(guān)系，有70多個國家和地區(qū)的企業(yè)在濰坊投資發(fā)展，投資企業(yè)2120家。先后與泰國、日本、韓國、德國等18個國家38個城市建立了友好城市和友好合作城市關(guān)系。

T he suspended city swept over the haze of the pandemic to embrace bright days. At this time， the CPC Weifang Municipal Committee and Weifang M u n i c i p a l P e o p l es G o v e r n m e n t d e c i d e d t o h o l d a g r a n d k i t e festival of historical signif icance and special features. On September 2 6 t h ， t h o u g h m i s s i n g m i l e s o f the spring breeze， Weifangs kites went into th e l o ng autumn days ， swaying and blooming splendidly in the clear sky over the coastal sea i n We i f a n g B i n h a i E c o n o m i c a n d Technological Development Zone.
