●16，000-year-old Kelp5 Found in Scotland

Scientists have found a kind of kelp thats around 16，000 years old！A team from Heriot-Watt University thinks the kind of kelp has survived6 since the last Ice Age. Scientists will now find out how it has survived for so long， and how marine7 plant life survives great changes8 in climate9. They found it off the coast of Scotland， Ireland and around Brittany in France. There are around 30 different kinds of kelp， and the one that scientists found here is called oarweed10.
