建筑的迷人之處在于其復(fù)雜性。
北京2022年冬奧會(huì)國(guó)家雪車雪橇中心是一個(gè)足夠“復(fù)雜”的項(xiàng)目,其中包含了多重語(yǔ)義的闡釋,覆蓋了建筑學(xué)所能及的多個(gè)概念。它既承載著國(guó)家級(jí)建設(shè)的訴求,又是一個(gè)獨(dú)特地貌特色的建筑;既是建筑又是景觀,甚至是構(gòu)筑物;既有文化層面的表達(dá),又有關(guān)乎人體速度和極限等性能和尺寸上的精確操作。所有這些因素累疊構(gòu)成的復(fù)雜性,使建筑呈現(xiàn)出一種無比生動(dòng)的狀態(tài)。
主持建筑師李興鋼采用了一系列富有成效的功能組織方式、建構(gòu)策略,配合完善的數(shù)字化性能模擬來表達(dá)設(shè)計(jì)。但這種“技藝”并未刻意表達(dá)成為主角,而是恰如其分地融合在建筑的“勝景”呈現(xiàn)中,成為建筑高度豐富性的注腳之一。
帕特里克·舒馬赫(Patrik Schumacher)在一次采訪中談到,希望中國(guó)優(yōu)秀建筑師不要回避大規(guī)模的建筑設(shè)計(jì),而僅熱衷于小規(guī)模的項(xiàng)目。在我看來,“大”是建筑蘊(yùn)含信息的多義和復(fù)雜,而建筑的最迷人之處在于其復(fù)雜性。國(guó)家雪車雪橇中心正是這樣一個(gè)具有高度豐富涵義的設(shè)計(jì)作品。
The beauty of architecture is its complexity.
National Sliding Center for Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games is a sufficiently"complex" project that contains multiple semantic interpretations,covering as many concepts as architecture can.It not only carries the demands of national construction,but also is a building with unique geomorphic characteristics.It is both architecture and landscape,and even structures;it has cultural level of expression,but also relationship with the speed and limit of human performance and precise operation of size.The complexity of all these factors makes the building present a very vivid state.
The chief architect Li Xinggang adopted a series of effective functional organization methods,construction strategies,and perfect digital performance simulation to express the design.However,this "technique"is not deliberately expressed as the protagonist,but appropriately integrated into the presentation of the "Poetic Scenery" of the architecture,becoming one of the footnotes of the high richness of the architecture.
In an interview,Patrik Schumacher hoped that China's top architects would not shy away from large-scale architecture,but rather focus on small-scale projects.In my opinion,"big" is the ambiguity and complexity of the information contained in architecture,and the most fascinating thing about architecture is its complexity.The National Sliding Center is such a highly meaningful design work.
