On August 5, 2021, ChineseteenagerQuan Hongchanwon the gold medalin the women’s 10-meterplatform diving finalsat the Tokyo Olympic Games on Thursday.The 14-year-old girl is theevent’s youngestcontenderand also the youngest member of Team China.

2021 年8 月5 日，中國(guó)少年全紅嬋在東京奧運(yùn)會(huì)女子單人10 米跳臺(tái)跳水決賽中獲得金牌。這位14 歲的女孩是該項(xiàng)目最年輕的參賽者，也是中國(guó)隊(duì)最年輕的成員。

This was Quan’s firstappearancein any of the threemajor internationaldiving events–FINA Diving World Cup, World Aquatics Championships and Summer Olympics–and she has alreadycarried onthegloryfrom divers Zhou Jihong, Xu Yanmei,Fu Mingxia, Chen Ruolin and Ren Qian.

這是全紅嬋第一次參加國(guó)際泳聯(lián)跳水世界杯、世界游泳錦標(biāo)賽和夏季奧運(yùn)會(huì)三大國(guó)際跳水賽事中的其中一項(xiàng)，她已經(jīng)繼承了跳水運(yùn)動(dòng)員周繼紅、徐艷梅、伏明霞、陳若琳和任倩的榮耀。

Quan Hongchan was born in Zhanjiang City, Guangdong Province on March 28, 2007.Her parents are farmers.Her mother is not in good healthdue toacar accident.The whole familydepends onher father, and the familyconditionsarerelativelyhard.

2007 年3 月28 日,全紅嬋出生于廣東省湛江市。她的父母都是農(nóng)民，母親出車禍后身體不太好，整個(gè)家庭靠她父親維持，家庭條件比較困難。

When Quan Hongchan was 7 years old, shebegan diving trainingandofficiallyentered Zhanjiang Sports School in September, 2014.After that, she wastransported toGuangdong Diving Team in March, 2018.Herattitudetowards training is veryseriousand she canbearhardship.She goes all out to show herabilityin every training.

全紅嬋7 歲時(shí)就開始接受跳水訓(xùn)練，2014 年9 月正式進(jìn)入湛江市體育運(yùn)動(dòng)學(xué)校就讀。此后，她于2018 年3 月被輸送到廣東省跳水隊(duì)。她對(duì)待訓(xùn)練的態(tài)度非常認(rèn)真，非常能吃苦，每次訓(xùn)練都是全力以赴地把自己的能力表現(xiàn)出來。

Though Quan Hongchan is so young, she is so hard-working and so outstanding that she is an excellent example for us Chinese teenagers to learn from.

盡管全紅嬋是如此年輕，但是她這么勤奮、這么杰出，是我們中國(guó)少年學(xué)習(xí)的好榜樣。
