Mr. Smith came to Churchill Primary School last week and became the new head teacher of this school. He was very strict with the students. However， he did not know all of the teachers of this school.

史密斯先生上周來到丘吉爾小學，成為這所學校的新校長。他對學生要求很嚴格。然而，他并不認識這所學校的所有老師。

One day， Mr. Smith was making his rounds of the school when he heard a terrible commotion coming from one of the classrooms. He rushed in and spotted one boy， much taller than the others， who seemed to be making the most noise.

一天，史密斯先生在學校里四處走動，突然聽到一間教室里傳來可怕的騷動聲。他沖了進去，發(fā)現(xiàn)了一個比其他男孩高得多的男生，似乎就他發(fā)出的聲音最大。

Mr. Smith was very angry. He seized the lad， dragged him to the hall， and told him to wait there until he was excused.

史密斯先生非常生氣。他抓住那個小伙子，把他拽到大廳里，讓他在那里等著，直到他被原諒為止。

Returning to the classroom， Mr. Smith restored order andlectured the class for half an hour about the importance of good behaviour.
