Consulate-General of the Netherlands in Chongqing Hosting the Kings Day Reception

On April 27th， the 2022 Kings Day Reception of the Netherlands was held at the residence of Huub Buise， the Dutch Consul-General in Chongqing. Zhang Ling， Vice Chairwoman of the Standing Committee of the CPPCC Chongqing attended the reception.

Consul-General Huub Buise took stock of and recognized the cooperation and achievements between China and the Netherlands since the establishment of the diplomatic relations at the ambassadorial level 50 years ago. The scope of bilateral interactions covers science and technology， economy， logistics， culture， sports， high-level mutual visits， two-way trade， and the establishment of organizations. Looking into the future， he was confident that Chongqing and the Netherlands could brave the challenges such as COVID-19 and work together in the fields of food safety， health-related industries， smart logistics， and smart cities. He thanked Chongqing for recommending the residence at the iconic location of Chaotianmen. “Today， we are celebrating at my place. It is not only my home but the home of the Chinese and Dutch people！”

Vice Chairwoman Zhang Ling mentions that the Netherlands is an important country of the European Union （EU）， a key gateway for Chongqing to interact with Europe， and a crucial cooperation partner in economy， trade， and culture. Since the Netherlands established the Consulate-General in Chongqing in 2013， the two sides have achieved positive results in exchanges and cooperation in multiple fields. The Consulate-General of the Netherlands in Chongqing holds thematic exchange events on logistics， agriculture and environmental protection every year; it invites companies to participate in Smart China Expo for four consecutive years and sets up its national pavilion. The friendship and people-to-people bond between our peoples have been enhanced thanks to a variety of cultural and exchange events. China-Europe Railway Express has become an important link， enabling the interactions between the two places in business， trade， and logistics， promoting the sustainable development of economic cooperation and trade between the two sides.In the context of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of Diplomatic Relations at the Ambassadorial Level Between China and the Netherlands， Chongqing will work together with the Consulate-General of the Netherlands in Chongqing to continue to improve practical cooperation on various fronts and contribute wisdom and strength to the new development of an open and pragmatic partnership for comprehensive cooperation between the two countries.

4月27日，2022年荷蘭國(guó)王日慶祝招待會(huì)在荷蘭駐重慶總領(lǐng)事包適的官邸舉辦，市政協(xié)副主席張玲應(yīng)邀出席招待會(huì)。

包適總領(lǐng)事回顧和肯定了50年來中荷兩國(guó)在科技、經(jīng)濟(jì)、物流、文化和體育領(lǐng)域及高層互訪、雙邊貿(mào)易和機(jī)構(gòu)拓展等方面的合作成效。展望未來，他堅(jiān)信，盡管面對(duì)疫情等諸多挑戰(zhàn)，重慶與荷蘭在食品安全、大健康、智慧物流、智慧城市等領(lǐng)域仍可開展合作。他感謝重慶推薦他將官邸設(shè)在朝天門這一標(biāo)志性的地方，“今天我們?cè)诩依锱e辦慶?；顒?dòng)，這個(gè)家是中國(guó)人、荷蘭人共同的家！”

Video Conference on Friendly Exchanges and Cooperation Held between Chongqing and La Rioja

On April 8th， a video conference was held between Chongqing Municipality and La Rioja Province， Argentina. Wang Wen， Director-General of the Foreign Affairs Office of Chongqing Municipal Peoples Government， addressed that cooperation has been conducted in multiple fields including economy， trade， people-to-people interactions， and local government exchanges since the Memorandum of Understanding on Establishing Friendly Exchanges between Chongqing and La Rioja was signed in December 2021. Chongqing has long been committed to serving the friendly exchanges between China and Argentina. As 2022 marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Argentina， the Foreign Affairs Office of Chongqing Municipal Peoples Government stands ready to actively promote exchanges and cooperation between the two sides in culture， economy， trade， science and technology， tourism， etc. for reciprocal development.

Juan Luna， Minister of Government Affairs of La Rioja Province， recognized that the cooperation between La Rioja and Chongqing is highly complementary and promising. La Rioja has always been actively working to expand friendly cooperation with Chinese governments at the local level. This conference is expected to provide opportunities for both sides to deepen exchanges and lay a solid foundation for future cooperation.

During the meeting， Chongqing Broadcasting Group reached strategic cooperation with La Rioja Channel 9 TV Station and held a signing ceremony. Representatives of Chongqing Municipal Commission of Education， Chongqing Municipal Commission of Agriculture and Rural Affairs， Chongqing Municipal Commission of Commerce， Chongqing Municipal Commission of Culture and Tourism， and relevant departments of La Rioja Province exchanged their suggestions in their respective fields. The two sides reached a consensus on strengthening practical cooperation and drawing on each others strengths to achieve mutual benefits and win-win results in relevant sectors.

重慶市與拉里奧哈省舉行友好交流合作視頻會(huì)

4月8日，重慶市與阿根廷拉里奧哈省舉行視頻交流會(huì)。市政府外辦主任王雯在致辭中表示，重慶市與拉里奧哈省自2021年12月簽署建立友好交流關(guān)系諒解備忘錄以來，在經(jīng)貿(mào)、人文、地方政府交往等方面開展了合作。重慶市長(zhǎng)期致力于服務(wù)中阿兩國(guó)友好交往，2022年是中阿建交50周年，市政府外辦將積極推動(dòng)兩地在文化、經(jīng)貿(mào)、科技、旅游等領(lǐng)域交流合作，實(shí)現(xiàn)共贏發(fā)展。

拉里奧哈省政務(wù)部部長(zhǎng)胡安·路那表示，拉里奧哈省與重慶具有較強(qiáng)的互補(bǔ)性，合作前景廣闊。一直以來，拉里奧哈省積極尋求拓展與中國(guó)地方政府的友好合作。希望能以本次會(huì)議為契機(jī)深化兩地之間的交流往來，為今后各項(xiàng)合作打下堅(jiān)實(shí)基礎(chǔ)。

會(huì)上，重慶廣播電視集團(tuán)（總臺(tái)）與拉里奧哈9號(hào)電視臺(tái)達(dá)成戰(zhàn)略合作并舉行了簽約儀式。市教委、市農(nóng)業(yè)農(nóng)村委、市商務(wù)委、市文化旅游委與拉里奧哈省相關(guān)部門參會(huì)代表交換了在各自領(lǐng)域開展合作的建議，就加強(qiáng)兩地在相關(guān)領(lǐng)域的務(wù)實(shí)合作、實(shí)現(xiàn)優(yōu)勢(shì)互補(bǔ)、促進(jìn)互利共贏達(dá)成一致意見。

Working Meeting by Wang Wen and Wolfgang Rudischhauser， Consul-General of Germany in Chengdu

On April 20th， Wang Wen， Director-General of the Foreign Affairs Office of Chongqing Municipal Peoples Government， met with Wolfgang Rudischhauser， Consul General of Germany in Chengdu， in Chongqing FAO. In the working meeting， they exchanged views on jointly promoting exchanges and cooperation between Chongqing and Germany in various fields.

Wang Wen updated Mr. Rudischhauser on the latest socioeconomic development and COVID-19 progress in Chongqing and thanked the Consul-General for his attention and support for the Municipality. As 2022 marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Germany， the Foreign Affairs Office of Chongqing Municipal Peoples Government stands ready to promote practical cooperation with the Consulate-General of Germany in Chengdu in economy and trade investment， digital economy， culture and art， and local exchanges， an effort to deepen the friendly exchanges between Chongqing and Germany.

Mr. Rudischhauser thanked the Foreign Affairs Office of Chongqing Municipal Government for the support and assistance given to the Consulate-General and himself. On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Germany， the German Consulate-General in Chengdu intends to hold celebration and exchange activities in Chongqing， so as to further strengthen interactions and achieve new development in the exchanges and cooperation between the two sides in various fields.

A Visit to Sichuan Fine Arts Institute by Gergely Kádár， Consul-General of Hungary in Chongqing

On April 22nd， Gergely Kádár， Consul-General of Hungary in Chongqing， led a delegation to visit Sichuan Fine Arts Institute （SCFAI）， where he explored ways to promote exchanges and cooperation between Chongqing and Hungary in culture， art， and education. The event was attended by Tang Wen， Inspector at Level I of the Foreign Affairs Office of Chongqing Municipal Peoples Government.

Jiao Xingtao， Vice President of SCFAI， made a brief introduction of the institute. SCFAI has always attached great importance to international art exchanges and cooperation and wishes to conduct practical cooperation with Hungary in talent training， intercollegiate exchanges， and industry-education-research integration. He introduced the well-known art institutes in Hungary， including the Hungarian University of Fine Arts， hoping that this trip will promote intercollegiate exchanges between the Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts and SCFAI and introduce more outstanding Hungarian artists and works to Chongqing.

According to Tang Wen， Chongqing FAO will actively support the exchanges and cooperation between SCFAI and Hungary and work together with Hungarian Consulate-General in Chongqing to facilitate extensive and in-depth international cooperation between the two sides.

The event was attended by relevant personnel of the Consular Affairs Division of the Foreign Affairs Office of Chongqing Municipal Peoples Government and the Consulate-General of Hungary in Chongqing.

匈牙利駐重慶總領(lǐng)事葛凱達(dá)一行訪問四川美術(shù)學(xué)院

4月22日，匈牙利駐重慶總領(lǐng)事葛凱達(dá)一行赴四川美術(shù)學(xué)院考察，探討促進(jìn)重慶與匈牙利在文化藝術(shù)和教育領(lǐng)域的交流與合作。市政府外辦一級(jí)巡視員唐文出席活動(dòng)。

四川美術(shù)學(xué)院副校長(zhǎng)焦興濤介紹了該校的基本情況，學(xué)校歷來重視藝術(shù)國(guó)際交流合作，希望與匈牙利在人才培養(yǎng)、校際交流、產(chǎn)學(xué)研結(jié)合等領(lǐng)域開展務(wù)實(shí)合作。葛凱達(dá)介紹了匈牙利美術(shù)大學(xué)等知名藝術(shù)學(xué)府，希望此行能推動(dòng)匈牙利美術(shù)院校和四川美術(shù)學(xué)院開展校際交流，向重慶介紹更多匈牙利優(yōu)秀藝術(shù)家和作品。

Foreign Affairs Office of Chongqing Municipal Government Held a Symposium on Covid-19 Prevention and Control with Foreign Consulates-General in Chongqing

On April 22nd， the Foreign Affairs Office of the Chongqing Municipal Peoples Government jointly held a symposium with Chongqing Municipal Health Commission on the Covid-19 prevention and control for the foreign Consulates-General in Chongqing. The event was attended by the Consuls-General of Italy， the UK， Hungary， Philippines， Netherlands， Japan， Canada， and representatives from the Consulates-General of Cambodia and Uruguay in Chongqing.

Li Mingquan， Deputy Director-General of Chongqing FAO， pointed out that since the outbreak of the Covid-19， Chongqing Municipality has thoroughly implemented the decisions and deployment made by the CPC Central Committee，? put into practice the requirements of the joint prevention and control mechanism of the State Council， unswervingly carried out the philosophy of “people first， life first”， and put into effect the general strategy of preventing imported cases and domestic resurgences and the general guideline of dynamic zero-COVID.

Officials from the relevant divisions of the Chongqing Municipal Health Commission introduced the regulations on regular Covid-19 prevention and control in Chongqing， prevention and control requirements for organizing gatherings， and the prevention policy for returning to Chongqing after business trips， etc. Persons in charge of the relevant divisions of Chongqing FAO introduced the Covid-19 prevention and control policies for people arriving in Chongqing from overseas and the prevention and control arrangements for the consular officials in Chongqing.

The consuls-general raised the Covid-19 prevention and control issues concerned by the Consulates-General in Chongqing， expressed that they understand Chongqings general strategy of preventing imported cases and domestic resurgences and the general guideline of dynamic zero-COVID. They also extended their appreciation of Chongqings care and assistance for the Consulates-General in Chongqing since the outbreak. They wish to maintain close communication and coordination with the relevant parties in Chongqing and will sustain their cooperation and support to the Covid-19 prevention effort and be committed to deepening practical and friendly cooperation with Chongqing across the board. Representatives of the relevant divisions attending the meeting also made corresponding responses to relevant matters of concern of the consular group.

Book Donation Event Themed “Share Love and Charisma of Book” Held by the Foreign Affairs Office of Chongqing Municipal Peoples Government

To promote the organs party-building effort of consolidating the poverty eradication achievements and connecting them with rural revitalization， and to meet the spiritual and cultural demands of children in rural areas. Chongqing FAO held a book donation event themed “Share Love and Charisma of Book” on the World Book Day 2022， an event presided over by the General Youth League Branch of Chongqing FAO， answering the call of the Working Committee of Youth League Directly under the CPC Chongqing Municipal Committee. The event aims to convey love and affection through books， promote reading for all， and boost rural revitalization.

The Chongqing FAO community has made an active response and participation， donating a total of over 380 books with sincere wishes to give love and knowledge， present the wonderful world， and light the promising future for children.

In addition， the General Youth League Branch of Chongqing FAO bought teenagers 520-plus books of literature， natural science， reference， etc. After sorting， registration， and packing， some books have been handed over to the Working Committee of Youth League Directly under the CPC Chongqing Municipal Committee for overall arrangements， and the other has been directly donated to Bayang Primary School of Bayang Town in Yunyang County， where the rural revitalization team from the Chongqing FAO is posted.

為推進(jìn)機(jī)關(guān)黨建助力鞏固脫貧攻堅(jiān)成果，同鄉(xiāng)村振興有效銜接，滿足鄉(xiāng)村少年兒童精神文化需要。2022年世界讀書日之際，市政府外辦積極響應(yīng)市直機(jī)關(guān)團(tuán)工委號(hào)召，辦團(tuán)總支牽頭向全辦發(fā)起了“愛心傳遞 共享書香”圖書捐贈(zèng)活動(dòng)。以書為媒介，傳遞愛心，促進(jìn)全民閱讀，助力鄉(xiāng)村振興。

全辦同志積極響應(yīng)，踴躍參與，共捐贈(zèng)書籍380余冊(cè)。大家表示，希望這些承載著愛心與知識(shí)的書籍傳遞給更多的孩子，為他們展示精彩的世界，點(diǎn)亮未來的希望。

此外，辦團(tuán)總支通過線上購(gòu)買青少年讀物520余冊(cè)，包括工具類、文學(xué)類、自然科學(xué)類和綜合類等。經(jīng)過整理篩選、登記打包，一部分書籍交由市直機(jī)關(guān)團(tuán)工委統(tǒng)一安排，另一部分直接捐贈(zèng)市政府外辦鄉(xiāng)村振興工作隊(duì)派駐地云陽(yáng)縣巴陽(yáng)鎮(zhèn)巴陽(yáng)小學(xué)。
