On May 12,2022,the “online contract signings” were carried out covering 9 industrial quality projects in Jinshan district,Shanghai.Among them,BASF Care Chemicals(Shanghai) Co.,Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as BASF) signed the“project of high-end skin-care product technical innovation” with a total investment volume reaching about 280 million yuan.It may bring about the new output worth of 525 million yuan and around an annual taxation worth of 158 million yuan.The implementation of the project will build BASF into a base headquartered in Jinshan integrating the production and sales of cosmetics raw materials and care chemicals.By promoting the construction of its nursing chemical headquarter base,further undertaking and extending the development of relevant middle and downstream industries,they can accelerate the cultivation of tens of billions of daily chemicals,cosmetics and care products industry cluster.

It is worth noticing that in December,2021,BASF announced via its official website its plan to build the production equipment of Uvinul? A Plus(sun-screening agent) in Jinshan,Shanghai,China,so as to expand the output of the UV filter product portfolio in Asia-Pacific region.Earlier,BASF promised in August,2020 that it would invest to build such production equipment in Asia with the output designed as approximately 1,500 tons per year.And it was scheduled to be put into production in the first half of 2023.CDC
