I， Zeus， am king of the gods. When I was born， my father tried to eat me！ But the one-eyed giant（巨人） saved（挽救） me and gave me a thunderbolt.

Now， men and gods fear my thunderbolts. But I， Zeus， fear no one... except（除了） my wife Hera.

Hera was queen of the gods and the wife of Zeus. She was the goddess（女神） of marriage（婚姻） and women. Heras sacred（神圣的） animals were the peacock（孔雀）， lion and cow.

I am Hera， queen of the gods. Make me happy and Ill give you rewards（獎(jiǎng)賞）. My watchman（看門人） Argus had one hundred eyes. When he died， I put his eyes into the tail（尾巴） of a peacock. You can still see them to this day.

Dont make me angry. When Prince Paris failed to pick（挑選） me in a beauty contest（比賽）， I destroyed（毀壞） his city of Troy.

Athena was the goddess of wisdom and war.

Zeus once had a headache. It was so bad， he asked someone to split（分開(kāi)） his head with an axe（斧頭） and I， Athena， jumped out！ I dressed in armour（鎧甲）and carried a spear（矛）.

When heroes get into trouble， I help them. My favourite bird is the clever owl and my favourite city is Athens.

Aphrodite was the most beautiful goddess. She had a magical（魔力的） golden belt（腰帶）. It could make people fall in love with her. Aphrodites sacred animals were the dove（鴿子） and swan（天鵝）.

I am Aphrodite， goddess of love. I was born from the foam（泡沫） of the sea. I wear a golden belt. It can make gods and men fall in love with me.

宙斯

宙斯是眾神之王。假如其他神不聽(tīng)從他的指令，他就會(huì)用雷電懲罰他們。宙斯很多孩子，比如阿波羅、雅典娜、阿芙洛狄忒……

我，宙斯，是眾神之王。我剛出生那會(huì)兒，我父親竟想把我吃掉！但獨(dú)眼巨人救了我，并給了我一道雷電。

如今，人類與眾神都怕我的雷電。但我，宙斯，誰(shuí)也不怕……除了我妻子赫拉。

赫拉

赫拉是眾神之后，宙斯的妻子。她是婚姻和女性之女神。赫拉的圣獸是孔雀、獅子和母牛。

我是赫拉，眾神之后。假如你們能取悅我，我就會(huì)給你們獎(jiǎng)賞。我的看門人阿耳戈斯有一百只眼睛。在他死后，我把他的眼睛都放在孔雀的尾巴上。時(shí)至今日你們?nèi)阅芸吹侥切┭劬Α?/p>

雅典娜

雅典娜是智慧與戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)女神。

有一回宙斯頭痛難忍，他讓人用斧頭把自己的頭劈開(kāi)，而我，雅典娜，就從他的頭顱里蹦了出來(lái)！我身穿鎧甲，手執(zhí)長(zhǎng)矛。

當(dāng)英雄們有難時(shí)，我便伸出援手。我的愛(ài)鳥(niǎo)是聰明的貓頭鷹，而我最愛(ài)的城市就是雅典。

阿芙洛狄忒

阿芙洛狄忒是最美的女神。她有一條能使人們愛(ài)上她的金色魔法腰帶。阿芙洛狄忒的圣獸是鴿子和天鵝。

我是阿芙洛狄忒，愛(ài)與美之女神。我從海浪泡沫中誕生。我腰系金色腰帶，它能使神和人類都愛(ài)上我。
