民生是人民幸福之基、社會和諧之本。

一頭連著經(jīng)濟發(fā)展，一頭連著百姓飯碗，就業(yè)是最基本的民生，是經(jīng)濟發(fā)展的“晴雨表”、社會穩(wěn)定的“壓艙石”。

今年以來，重慶堅持以實施就業(yè)優(yōu)先戰(zhàn)略為引領(lǐng)，以高質(zhì)量充分就業(yè)為目標(biāo)，全面落實就業(yè)優(yōu)先政策。今年上半年，全市城鎮(zhèn)新增就業(yè)41萬人，同比增長2.3%，已完成全年目標(biāo)任務(wù)的68.3%。

本期“新時代 新征程 新重慶”系列報道，我們通過講述落實就業(yè)優(yōu)先政策、就業(yè)工作者籌辦招聘會、不斷涌現(xiàn)的新職業(yè)新業(yè)態(tài)等故事，透視我市在增進民生福祉上取得的新成效。

保障和改善民生沒有終點，只有連續(xù)不斷的新起點。只有實實在在幫群眾解難題、為群眾增福祉、讓群眾享公平，才能不斷滿足人民群眾對美好生活的向往。

Livelihood is the basis of peoples happiness and the foundation of social harmony.

It is connected with one end to economic development and with the other to the well-being of the people. Employment is the most fundamental aspect of livelihood. It serves as the "barometer" of economic development and the "ballast" for social stability.

Since the beginning of this year， Chongqing has adhered to the strategy of prioritizing employment， with the goal of achieving highquality and full employment. The policy of employment priority has been comprehensively implemented. In the first half of this year， the new urban jobs of the city added 2.3% year-on-year to 410，000， achieving 68.3% of the annual target.

In this edition of the series "New Era， New Journey， New Chongqing"， we share stories about the implementation of the employment priority policy， efforts of employment workers in organizing job fairs， and the emergence of new professions and industries. These stories shed light on the new progress our city has made in enhancing peoples well-being.

The guarantee and improvement of livelihood have no endpoint but continuous new starting points. Only by genuinely helping people solve problems， enhancing their well-being， and ensuring fairness can we continually meet peoples aspirations for a better life.
