Shankar Pokhrel， General Secretary of the Communist Party of Nepal （Unified Marxist–Leninist） ， Visiting Chongqing

From September 3 to 7， the delegation led by Shankar Pokhrel， General Secretary of the Communist Party of Nepal （Unified Marxist–Leninist）， visited Chongqing. On the afternoon of September 5， Yuan Jiajun， Member of the CPC Central Committee Political Bureau and Secretary of the CPC Chongqing Municipal Committee， met with the delegation.

The attendees included representatives of the Communist Party of Nepal （Unified Marxist-Leninist） such as Rajan Bhattarai， Member of the Standing Committee and Chief of the Foreign Affairs Department， Rajendra Prasad Gautam， Member of the Standing Committee and Chief of the Publicity Department， Jwala Kumari Sah， Member of Politburo and Member of Organization Department， and Chongqing leaders including Li Mingqing， Deputy Secretary of the CPC Chongqing Municipal Committee and Chen Xinwu.

Yuan Jiajun stated that Nepal is our good neighbor connected by mountains and rivers， an everlasting friend， and a good partner toward a shared future. We are ready to follow through on the leaders’ consensus reached during the visit by General Secretary Xi Jinping to Nepal in 2019， promote bilateral and sub-national cooperation in economy and trade， people’s livelihood， and youth exchanges， and elevate the relations to a new stage. Chongqing is willing to join hands with Nepal and focus attention on poverty reduction， industrial development， culture， and tourism， as well as education and training to inject renewed driving forces into this relationship.

Shankar Pokhrel said that Nepal regards China as the best neighbor and friend， and will continue to advance the bilateral relations. Nepal and Chongqing have many common interests in cooperation. Both sides will strengthen cooperation in farming techniques， industrial parks， transportation and logistics， exchanges and training of officials， and exchanges and mutual learning among the youth for common development and prosperity.

Shankar Pokhrel visited the Chongqing Planning Exhibition Gallery and Hongyan Revolutionary Memorial Hall and attended the extensive training courses of the Party School of the Chongqing Committee of CPC. He also made field trips to Bishan District， Wanzhou District， and Yunyang County to learn about the construction of the Chengdu-Chongqing Twin-Hub Mega-Region， the development of vocational education and rural revitalization， and the opportunities for practical cooperation.

9月3日至7日，尼泊爾共產(chǎn)黨（聯(lián)合馬列）總書(shū)記香卡·博克瑞爾一行來(lái)渝訪問(wèn)。5日下午，中共中央政治局委員、市委書(shū)記袁家軍會(huì)見(jiàn)代表團(tuán)一行。

尼泊爾共產(chǎn)黨（聯(lián)合馬列）中常委、外事部部長(zhǎng)拉簡(jiǎn)·巴特拉伊，中常委、宣傳部部長(zhǎng)拉金德拉·高塔姆，政治局委員、組織部委員嘉娃拉·沙阿，市委副書(shū)記李明清，市領(lǐng)導(dǎo)陳新武參加。

袁家軍說(shuō)，中尼是山水相連的好鄰居、世代友好的好朋友、命運(yùn)與共的發(fā)展伙伴。我們?cè)嘎鋵?shí)2019年習(xí)近平總書(shū)記訪尼期間兩國(guó)領(lǐng)導(dǎo)人達(dá)成的共識(shí)，促進(jìn)兩國(guó)及地方間在經(jīng)貿(mào)往來(lái)、民生改善、青年交往等方面的交流合作，推動(dòng)雙邊關(guān)系邁上新臺(tái)階。重慶愿與尼方一道，聚焦減貧發(fā)展、產(chǎn)業(yè)提升、文化旅游、教育培訓(xùn)等領(lǐng)域加強(qiáng)合作，不斷增進(jìn)互信和友誼，為持續(xù)推動(dòng)兩黨、兩國(guó)關(guān)系向前發(fā)展注入新動(dòng)力。

香卡·博克瑞爾說(shuō)，尼泊爾視中國(guó)為最好的鄰居和朋友，愿推動(dòng)兩黨、兩國(guó)關(guān)系不斷向前發(fā)展。尼泊爾與重慶有許多合作契合點(diǎn)，希望加強(qiáng)在農(nóng)業(yè)種植技術(shù)、工業(yè)園區(qū)建設(shè)、交通物流、干部交流培訓(xùn)、青年交往互鑒等方面的合作，實(shí)現(xiàn)共同發(fā)展繁榮。

在渝期間，香卡·博克瑞爾還參觀了市規(guī)劃展覽館、紅巖革命紀(jì)念館，參加重慶市委黨校專(zhuān)題培訓(xùn)班，深入璧山區(qū)、萬(wàn)州區(qū)、云陽(yáng)縣，實(shí)地考察成渝地區(qū)雙城經(jīng)濟(jì)圈建設(shè)、職業(yè)教育、鄉(xiāng)村振興等情況，探索務(wù)實(shí)合作的可能性。
