like主要有兩個意思：

①作動詞，表示“喜歡”；②作介詞，表示“像”。

一、 作為動詞（*like 有 人稱和時態(tài)的變化）

like+名詞/代詞，意為：喜歡某物/某人。

如：Alicia likes flowers very much.

Nina is a good teacher. We all like her.

如：We all like learning English.

我們都喜歡學習英語。

We like to go to the park on weekends.

我們喜歡在周末去公園。

I like reading， but I don’t like to read this evening.

我喜歡看書，但今晚我不想看。

二、作為介詞（*like 沒有 人稱和時態(tài)的變化）

be like+名詞/代詞，意為：像……（可指外表、行為舉止、性格等相似）

如：She is like her mother in many ways.

她在許多方面都像她的母親。

look like+名詞/代詞，意為：看上去像……

如：The little girl looks like her father.

這個小女孩看上去像她的父親。

This building looks like a palace.

這座建筑看起來像一個宮殿。

sound like聽起來像 feel like感覺上像

三、常見句型

1.對外表提問。

What do/does sb. look like？（某人長什么樣？）

—What does she look like？ 她長什么樣？

—She has two big eyes. 她有一雙大眼睛。

2.對性格、品質(zhì)提問。

What is/are sb. like？（某人是什么樣的人？）

—What is she like？ 她是什么樣的人？

—She is very friendly.她非常友善。

3. 對喜好提問。

What ... do/does sb. like？（某人喜歡什么？）

—What colour do you like？你喜歡什么顏色？

—I like blue.我喜歡藍色。

4. 對喜歡的內(nèi)容提問。

What do you like about...？（關(guān)于……你喜歡什么？）

—What do you like about China？你喜歡中國的什么？

—The food and the people.食物和人們。

5. 對想法提問。

How do you like ...？（你認為……怎么樣？）

—How do you like the film？你認為這部電影怎么樣？

—It’s very interesting. 很有趣。

6. 詢問對方是否需要什么或征求意見與看法。

Would you like+名詞/to do sth.？（你想要……嗎？）

Would you like some coffee？你想要一些咖啡嗎？

Would you like to go shopping with us？
