The International Book Giving Day started in the UK. However， over the yearsthe day has spread and book lovers around the world now take part in thecelebrations. The holiday was started by Amy Broadmoore and her son， throughDelightful Children’s Books， who conceived2 the original3 idea in 2012， afternoticing a need for books for children in poor areas.
