From May 23 to 26， 2024， the sixth Western China International Fair forInvestment and Trade （WCIFIT） was held in Chongqing. Themed “NewWestern China， New Manufacturing， New Services，” the event attractednearly 1，800 enterprises from 27 Chinese municipalities， provinces， andautonomous regions as well as from 40 countries and regions to participate infive thematic activities， namely， logistic services， innovative services， professionalservices， investing in western China， and global purchasing.

A total of 196 major projects were signed at the sixth WCIFIT spanningfields such as intelligent networked new energy vehicles， intelligent equipment，smart manufacturing， and modern finance， with the majority focusing on thedevelopment of new quality productive forces.
