Nancy: Its a fine day,isnt it?
Mary: Yes. So what can wedo?
Lucy: Lets go to the park.
Nancy and Mary: Goodidea!
(In the park )
Nancy: Oh, there are a lotof public signs.
Mary: Public signs?... Whatdoes that sign mean?
Lucy: It means “No smok-ing”.
Mary: Thank you.
Nancy: And this pub-lic sign means “Donttouch.”
Mary: Oh, I see.
Lucy: Look, the signbeside the river means “Noswimming”.
Nancy: But theres a boy swimming in the river.
Mary:We must tell the park keeper!
(Run to the park keeper)
Mary: Excuse me, Uncle, theresaboyswimmingin the river.
Park keeper: Really? Lets go and see.
(Beside the river)
Parkkeeper: Comeup! Cant you see the public sign?You cant swim here!
Boy: Sorry, Sir.
