Should Teenagers Do Housework？

Recently I’ve had a discussion with my classmates about whether teenagers should do housework. Some students say that many parents don’t let their daughters or sons do anything， because they hope that their children can have more time for lessons so that they can go to university and then have good jobs. Some students think that it’s a waste of time. Some think that they are too young not to① do anything. I don’t agree with them.

Although we are very busy working at our lesson， but② I think we should do some housework with our parents， because our parents are also busy and tired after a day’s work. They care for us and we should care for them， too. What’s more， do③ housework can also help us learn to look after ourselves and make our tired brain relaxed.

1. 優(yōu)點(diǎn)：

很多家長(zhǎng)愛(ài)孩子愛(ài)到無(wú)微不至，不讓或很少讓孩子做家務(wù)，既有家長(zhǎng)溺愛(ài)的原因，也有學(xué)生自己缺乏責(zé)任心的原因。小作者通過(guò)講道理的方法對(duì)這一錯(cuò)誤觀點(diǎn)進(jìn)行批駁，從而確立自己的觀點(diǎn)——既努力學(xué)習(xí)，也要做些家務(wù)，值得提倡。

2. 需要修改的地方：

① 去掉not。too… to… 意為“太……而不能……”，含否定意義，不用在to前加not。

② 去掉but。在讓步狀語(yǔ)從句中，用了though就不能再用but。

③ 將do改為doing。此處為動(dòng)名詞短語(yǔ)作主語(yǔ)。

3. 評(píng)分：

按中考滿分作文20分計(jì)算，該篇作文18分。
